Lindsey's P.O.V.
Me and sadie were blaring to Macklemore on the way to the party, once I saw a building with loud upbeat music and loads of people going In knew it was the place. The building was really nice, a perfect place to have a party. Sadie found a parking space, once she parked she turned to me with a grin, I laughed and got out of the car.
We headed towards the entrance and once we reached it I realized there was a security guard standing with a clipboard and a red rope behind him. I was confused at first but then realized that we needed to be on the list to get in " Umm Sadie I think we need to be on the list to get in the party. " She gave me a look as if saying 'Are you thinking what I'm thinking?' I groaned as she pulled me by my hand around the building to the exit by the dumpsters. "Are you crazy?! we can't sneak in we'll get caught!" " We won't get caught, now stop being a worry wort!" I rolled my eyes at her but nodded.
Sadie slowly approached the door, me in tow. I heard the door creak open and took a peek inside. The room was full of people in dresses and tuxedos, people holding shots of vodka, others with weird colored drinks with little umbrellas in them. Sadie stepped in and ran towards the kitchen to the right I sprinted after her and almost fell in my high heels. I looked around the kitchen, marble countertops, wooden cabinets, giant fridge and party cups everywhere. Sadie smiled " Now this is a party! Now remember if anyone asks who you are just say you we're invited by a friend... or something"
I nodded and followed her into the living room, there were tons of people totally wasted and past out on the couch, and others eating eachothers faces off, I silently gagged in my mouth. We reached the bar and sat at the stools that weren't occupied. " Can I get you ladies something to drink?" the bartender asked. Sadie gave me a worried look but pointed to someone sitting next to us and said " I'll have what he has." the bartender nodded and looked at me " Uum I'll have... A coke." He laughed at me, while sadie looked at me with a weird look on her face " Uh yeah I'll have the same thing." I put my head in my hands in embarrassment probably looking like a tomato right now.
Once I looked up I see our drinks there sadie was already drinking hers. Truth is I was scared shitless to drink, I have never drank. Like ever, in my whole entire life. I slowly picked it up, it smelled like vinegar, I took a sip and frowned it burned my throat a little but had a good sensation in my throat after. I heard Sadie laughing next to me but shot her a glare as I spun in my chair looking around the room.
I recognized the song that was playing from somewhere. The song was a weird song to be playing at a party like this but I listened ' You can be the peanut butter to my jelly you can be the butterflies I feel In my belly'
FLASHBACK
I was at a park at the top of the hill, wrapped in Jayden's arms. I smiled to myself thinking nothing else could go wrong in the world, everything was so, peacfull, watching the sun go down, birds chirping in the distance, the warmth of the sun and Jayden's arms around me, I was living a fairy tale. " I have a suprise for you." I looked up to meet his eyes and smiled " What is it?" He reached behind him and grabbed his guitar he started to strum it, to get it into tune. Once it was tuned his raspy voice started to sing.
Oh, oh.
Yeah, yeah
You can be the peanut butter to my jelly
You can be the butterflies I feel in my belly
You can be the captain and I can be your first mate
You can be the chills that I feel on our first date
You can be the hero and I can be your side kick
You can be the tear that I cry if we ever split
