“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU LOST HIM?!?” I heard Dominic yell just outside the bedroom door.

I inwardly cringed at the tone of his voice and knew that he was going to be plenty pissed off when he came back in here. It’s been about six hours since we got back from our little jaunt over to Daniel’s house. From what I have been told, Jacob has been put under an alpha order to not leave the pack house and his ate, Marsha, is with him now that Eliana has cleared her. So much has happened since we got here and it’s all my fault. All this craziness is because that sick fuck wants me! I don’t know what kind of deal he had made with Daniel, but according to my dad, he supposedly sold him to me for a pretty penny.

“I DON’T GIVE A FUCK HOW LONG YOU’RE GONE FOR, GO THROUGH THAT DAMN TUNNEL AGAIN AND FIND A WAY TO TRACK THAT FUCKER!” Dominic screamed as he came into the room and slammed the door in the face of whomever he was yelling at.

I smiled softly at my gorgeous mate and immediately his look softened when his eyes connected with mine. I was about to ask him what is going on when a smell hit me full force causing my stomach to rumble. I glanced down and realized that my thoughtful mate had a plate in his hands and whatever is on it was smelling really good.

“I figured you’d be hungry love, and didn’t think that you’d want to go down for dinner with the pack so I brought you a plate of spaghetti and meatballs with a few sticks of garlic bread.” He said as he set the plate down on the nightstand, sat on the bed and pulled me into his lap.

I let out an appreciative sigh as I leaned back into his chest and looked longingly at the plate next to us. Just as I was about to reach for it, he smacked my hand away causing a growl to rumble through my chest.

“Don’t you growl at me, woman, otherwise there will be severe consequences.” He said as he pulled me tighter to his chest and nipped my ear.

I moan slipped past my lips and immediately all thoughts of food fled my brain. All I wanted was him inside of me and when his whole body stiffened behind me, I knew he could smell my arousal. To excite him even further, I wiggled my ass around a little since it was pressed against his impressive member and got a growl in response. In the blink of an eye, he had us flipped over and was hovering over me with a hungry look in his eyes.

“You’re playing with fire, love.” He whispered as he looked appreciatively at my scantily clad body “if you’re not careful, I’ll be the one whose eating something instead of you.” He added with a wink as he went to move off of me.

“Who said I wanted to eat something?” I asked in a husky voice as I wrapped my legs around his waist. His touch alone set my body alight and the fact that he is laying in between my legs has my core throbbing “Maybe I just want to be the one feasted on.”

I watched as his eyes darkened with lust, my wolf yipping with excitement in my head, and squealed when he gripped my hips and pulled me down towards him, smashing his lips to mine in the process. This is what I wanted; him to do nothing but love me because I don’t know how long it will last. All the problems that I have brought to him and his pack, now there is a war starting because of me; maybe I should just leave, but for now, I’m going to enjoy every minute I have left with him. With a deafening growl he pulled his lips away from mine, causing me to whimper in protest, and lean towards him, desperately trying to get those soft lips back on mine.

“How many times do I have to tell you, love, that you are not to blame for any of this. You are not going anywhere; no one wants you to go anywhere and no one in the pack is blaming you for this. You are the packs’ future Luna and, as wolves, we will do anything as a pack to protect our alpha couple.” He said with a growl as he held onto my sides tighter “Now, I think it’s time for you to be punished for thinking such horrific things.” He added as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder
