Hinata's P.O.V
Bright and early the sun was up. I ran to school directly to the gym. No one was there except for Kageyama serving the ball trying to hit an empty water bottle to which he missed. He took a deep breath closing his eyes concentrating and tying again. When he served I ran to it trying to receive it but went flying to the another direction.
"Hey get out of the way dumbass Hinata!" Kageyama yelled angry
"I got it, I got it" I yelled happily even though I sent it to the wrong direction
"You didn't get it dumbass. You hit a home run" he yelled I saw where it landed heading to get it. He mumbled an 'idiot' then continued to grab another ball. He served once again this time going towards the bottle. I was about to exit out of the gym when a figure passed by me with great speed.
When I looked behind me the guy had received the ball with no problems. I was shocked for a moment he did it so perfectly compared to what I did. I walked up to him looking at him with curiosity when I realized something.
"He's shorter than me!" I yelled
"Huh!? Hey what did you just say!?" he yelled back furious
"I-I'm sorry!" I said frightened "Um... how tall are you?" I asked curious since I was taller than him and he seemed to play volleyball too.
He pointed at himself and replied with a smirk "I'm 159 centimeters" (5'2) I think
I looked at him surprised "W-Wow..." I whispered
"W-What?" he asked knitting in eyebrows in confusion
"It's the first time I've ever looked down on someone since I started high school club activities" I said putting my eyes over my arm as if I'm crying.
"Don't weep with joy about it! You're not looking that far down!" he yelled. That was when Tanaka came in with Daichi and Sugawara behind him.
"Oh Noya-san" Tanaka said to which the guy responded "Hey Ryu"
"Nishinoya" Daichi said he waved excitedly saying hi "Let me introduce you" The guy known as Nishinoya faced me and Kageyama as the captain kept talking "This is Nishinoya a second year"
"Hi" I yelled exited
"Hi. So you guys are first years huh?" he asked we both nodded our heads "That serve was awesome" he blabbered on about Kageyama's serve it made me feel kind of out of place. Everyone was strong while I could only spike and most of the time get blocked because of my height.
A tall tall wall looms in front of me
"Why did you come to Karasuno Nishinoya-san?" Kageyama asked breaking the flow of my thoughts "Was it because you heard Ukai was coming back?"
"No... I came to Karasuno because..." he paused we stared at him seriously waiting for his answer "Because I like the girl's uniform intensely" he finished making a fist with his hand.
We both sweatdropped confusion written all over our faces. He kept rambling on about the girls uniform being cute and guys were black not brown or grey. That's when our manager came in Nishinoya-san realized it to because he ran to her only getting a slap in return
He's really noisy and hyper but I like him. He came back like if nothing happened and asked "So is Asahi back?" our third years looked at each other before looking at the ground and mumbling a no.
"That wimp" he yelled startling me his emotions changed pretty quickly if I might say so
"Hey Nishinoya don't call your senpai a wimp" Tanaka argued back
