"Ohh let be see my grand baby" Laurelle said as soon as Tyler opened the door to their condo. Tyler smiled, welcoming Laurelle and Shaun into their home. Troye was holding Juliana on the couch, just finishing up her bottle.
"Mum, Dad" Troye said with a smile, walking over to his parents and giving them a one armed hug
"oh oh let me have her" Laurelle said reaching her arms out to take Juliana from Troye
Troye gasped "Mum watch her head" he said worriedly and she rolled her eyes
"Tokkie I've had three children I know how to told a baby" Laurelle said (AN: I didn't forget anyone please recall that Troye and Tyde are not related in this fic)
"I know Mum, it's just...be careful" Troye said even after Laurelle had Julie in her arms. He was hesitant on leaving her side, determined to look at her the entire time his mom held her. Tyler watched from the side, noting that Troye was driving himself crazy with his need to observe Juliana at all times. He was going to make himself sick in no time if he kept up this neurotic behavior.
Tyler cleared his throat, catching Troye's attention, Tyler smiled at him. "Troye come help me cook dinner, your mom has that under control" he said
Troye looked hesitant, "go tokkie we're fine" she said. Troye nodded before joining Tyler in the kitchen. He looked again through the doorway of the kitchen at his mother and Juliana. "babe, she's fine" Tyler said "come on lets start boiling the water lets make dinner"
Troye pulled his sight from looking at the living room to focus on cooking the meal with Tyler. They moved fluidly together, working on the meal and cooking side by side, stealing kisses throughout. Troye giggled when Tyler slid infront of the sink to kiss his lips. "You know you are very distracting" Troye said with a smirk "I'm trying to cook dinner"
Tyler smiled "who's stopping you, I'm just mixing a salad" he said sweetly
"You always distract me" Troye said "especially when you wear my favorite shirt"
Tyler smiled "Oh this old thing" he joked spinning once on his heals to face away from Troye, being sure to move his hips as he walked. Troye giggled and moved to wrap his arms around Tyler's shoulder, Tyler gripped Troye's wrists and spun in a circle with Troye holding onto his back. Troye kissed him on the cheek once again "I love you" he whispered in Tyler's ear
"I love you more" Tyler said easing Troye back onto his feet
"Did you decide what Julie is going to wear for the photos your mom is taking?" Tyler asked
"I think I'm going to lay her under a blanket and put that pink hat your mom made on her head" Troye said, draining the pasta into the sink
"oh the one with the white bow" Tyler asked "thats going to be so cute"

Seven hours later, Shaun, Laurelle and Jackie had come and gone. The group had dinner and dessert, Laurelle took birth announcement photos of Juliana and was going to sent them to Troye. Everyone got the chance to hold her and Jackie stayed a bit later so that she could give Juliana her bottle. Troye and Tyler fully cleaned up after the meal, exhausted, they couldn't wait to go to sleep.
Juliana was sleeping soundly on Troye's side of the bed in her bassinet. Troye finally fell asleep a little bit ago, resting soundly with his face against Tyler's arm. Tyler was having trouble falling asleep, his mind fully awake with the realization that he and his boyfriend had a little baby. Not only was he responsible for keeping his own shit together but now he had to keep her's together too.
Tyler was almost asleep when he heard soft squeaks coming from Juliana, he glanced at the clock and noticed that it was barely passing 2am and there was no way she should have been up or needing a bottle.
Tyler carefully got up, moving a pillow next to Troye to replace himself. He scooted to Troye's side of the bed and scooped Juliana up in his arms. He was sure to grab her pacifier before leaving the room, Troye needed more rest and Tyler didn't want Juliana to wake up Troye.
"Hey little love" tyler said "you sure are wide awake"
Juliana blinked at Tyler, her arms tightly wrapped in a swaddle along with the rest of her body. She liked it, it felt arm and cozy. It also made her easier to hold, especially when she got wiggly. Tyler placed the binky in her mouth as she sucked on it lightly.
Tyler walked around their home, swaying his hips and trying lull Juliana to sleep. She continued to walk around holding her, moving at a rhythmic pace. She didn't seem to care, still fully awake after 20 minutes of persistent please-go-to-sleep actions. Tyler smiled down at her.
"Julie, you need to go to sleep its past two am" Tyler cooed, he looked at her for a long while "You have your Daddy's eyes, bright like the moon" he said
Juliana continued to blink at him, her pacifier bobbing in her mouth contently. "Luna, like the moon" Tyler said quietly.
Forty-five minutes and a full bottle later Juliana was finally sleeping. Tyler was able to place her gently in her bassinet before slipping back onto bed with Troye. Troye nuzzled into Tyler's side again.
"D-did you just giv-give her a bottle" Troye asked in a slurred still sleeping state.
"yup. Fed, burped, and changed" Tyler said "goodnight"
"night night" Troye said
