Chp. 1

*2 years later*
Ciara's P.O.V.

I felt someone jump on me and wake me up. I groaned and opened my eyes to see my friends Perry and Carly on top of me.

I sighed and pushed them away.
"I'm tired!"

Perry sighed and kept shaking me. Her loud British accent rang through my ears.
"Get up girly! We're going to Cali today!"

Hold on! I should explain what's been going on in my life the past two years. Okay well as you know..it was revealed that Ethan was gonna be a father..of Melinda's baby. Yeah..I didn't take that to well. It caused a major gap in me and Ethan's relationship, but we stuck it out even when the baby was born. Melinda was bitchy but I ignored her. I found out I got accepted to NYU and by fall after senior year I was in New York. Me and Ethan kept a long distance relationship but as you know those don't work out to well. I broke up with him a couple months ago for reasons that I'll explain later on. Anyways, I haven't talked to him since. Today me, my friend Carly, and my cousin Perry are going to L.A. They both go to NYU with me, and we're on summer break so we decided what better place to spend summer break than Cali. There! Your all caught up:).

{Carly is the blonde and Perry is the brunette}

Carly pulled me out of bed and smiled.
"Get up! The uber comes in an hour."

I quickly sat up.
"I haven't even started packing!"

"Welp. You have an hour. You better start." Perry said.

I sighed and quickly packed my bags, I took a shower, and changed my outfit.

After we had all gotten ready and I got packed, the uber was in front of our apartment complex. Me, Perry, Carly, and our other roommate Anne shared a four-bedroom apartment. Anne walked with us outside to the uber. I wasn't very fond of Anne because she always had something rude to say.

Carly sighed as she pushed her suitcase in the trunk.
"I can't wait to meet new Cali guys."

Me and Perry smiled.
"Same."
