Chp. 5

Everyone at the table looked up at Ethan with a raised eyebrow.

Perry's eyes widened.
"Um..."

"I'll be right back." I said, standing up, and walking out.

I just needed to get some air. I sat on the bench in front of the restaurant and sighed.

Grayson's P.O.V.

As Ciara walked out, me, Carly, and Winter looked up at Ethan with a slight glare.

"What the hell Ethan! You couldn't wait until later to do this." I said, walking out after Ciara.

I walked to the front of the restaurant and saw Ciara sitting on a bench. She looked up as I walked over to her.

"You okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine." She said. "It's just awkward seeing your ex ask out another girl right in front of your face...I don't know..I just needed to get away from the situation."

"I don't know what's up with him. I mean first he kisses your cousin which ended your relationship then he asks her out in front of your face."

"It wasn't Ethan's fault for kissing Perry. He wasn't the one that caused an end to our relationship.." She said, running her hands through her hair.

"Wait...what? I thought you said-"

"I didn't tell you the full story of what happened in New York. The reason we broke up wasn't just because he kissed Perry.."

"What happened?" I asked, sitting next to her.

"After I moved to New York, me and Ethan kind of..lost that spark in our relationship. I was kinda lonely in New York, and I met this guy Jackson. He was in my biochemistry class at NYU. One night I invited him to my apartment to study. We didn't exactly study. We kinda just made out on my living room couch. That night was the same night Ethan came to surprise me in New York.."

"So...you cheated on my brother first?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It was a mistake..before I regretted it and stopped, Ethan opened the front door that I forgot to lock. He saw Jackson and went ballistic. Me and Perry were the only ones there so we both had to pull Ethan off of Jackson. Jackson left and Ethan was pissed. I apologized like a thousand times and he kept saying okay. Then he started hanging out with Perry. I caught them making out just like he caught me and Jackson making out then..we just broke up."

Ciara's P.O.V.

Grayson was quiet.
"Wow."

I sighed and stood up.
"We should get back inside."

He nodded and stood up.
"Yeah."

We walked back in and sat down like nothing happened.

"You okay?" Carly whispered.

I nodded.
"Yeah."

I saw Perry and Ethan kissing from across the table.
"I'm assuming she said yes.." I whispered to Carly.

She rolled her eyes.
"Yep."

*Next Morning*

I woke up the next morning to Carly shaking me. I groaned and sat up.
"What?"

"I need help!"

"With what?"

"Blake texted me and said that he wants to go out on a date and I don't know how to respond!" She sitting next to me.
