Chp. 9

Ethan's P.O.V.

I woke up, and walked into my kitchen to see Chase sitting on the island. He was smiling down at his phone.

"Who's got you so happy?" I asked, opening the fridge.

I grabbed the orange juice and poured a cup.

"Ciara." He said, still typing a message to her.

I raised an eyebrow.
"M-my ex..Ciara?"

"Yeah. You don't have a problem with that right?"

"No.."

I did have a problem with it. I had a huge problem with it because I know how Chase is with girls. He doesn't do serious relationships and Ciara looks for that type of stuff. I didn't want her to get hurt, and I wanted to tell her about how Chase is. But..she might just think I'm jealous. I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut..it isn't my business.

"You interested in her?" I asked.

"Hell yeah, but your brother has a problem with that."

"Grayson?"

"You don't have another brother."

I rolled my eyes.
"He likes Ciara?"

"Yeah. I tried to go out with her and he got all defensive and protective."

I didn't know Grayson liked Ciara....

"Anyways..I gotta get ready." He said, standing up.

"For what?"

"I'm hanging out with Ciara today."

Ciara's P.O.V.

I got ready as Chase texted me he was on his way to pick me up. Soon I heard the doorbell ring and I saw Chase smiling down at me.

"Hey. You ready?" He asked.

I nodded and smiled.
"Yeah."

We both got into his car, and started driving off.

"So, where to, tour guide?"

"Um.."

I decided to show him the main tourists attractions first. We went around L.A., goofed off, and honestly, had alot of fun. Then we stopped to get something eat and he took a bunch of off guard pictures of me laughing at his jokes. For our last stop, I decided for us to go to a local fair that was pretty close to my house.

We got out of the car and walked up to the ticket booth.
"Can I get two tickets?" Chase asked, into the ticket booth.

"That will be twenty dollars." The guy at the ticket booth responded.

Chase pulled out his wallet and grabbed a twenty out.

I raised an eyebrow.
"I thought I was paying."

"Nope. I got it."

"But you paid for lunch. I'll pay for the tickets." I said, reaching in my purse.

He smiled and stopped my hand.
"I got it, Ciara."

I gave him a small smile as he pays. We walked into the fair and we both decide to head on one of the biggest roller coasters there. After the ride was over, I could barely move.

"You okay?" Chase laughed.

I don't know why I get on huge roller coasters, knowing that I get dizzy easily.

"I'm fine." I smiled, standing up straight.
"Where to next?"

We went on a couple more rides as the sun began to set.

Chase's P.O.V.

I posted a couple of pictures on snapchat knowing that Grayson would see them. I knew he was gonna be jealous. Soon as the sun began to set, I dropped Ciara off at her house.
"Thanks for showing me around."

She gave me a small smile.
"No problem. Bye Chase." She said, hugging me and getting out of the car.

Ciara's P.O.V.

I walked into my house to see Perry sitting in the living room.
"Hey Ciara."

"Hey." I mumbled, walking upstairs.

She sighed and followed me into my room.
"Ciara. I can't take it anymore."

"What are you talking about?" I said, sitting on my bed.

"Us barely talking. The tension between us. The fact that we ignore each other all the time." She said, fumbling with her hands.

"Well..that's to bad Perry. We're not friends. We're family by blood, that's the only reason your still in this house."

She sighed and was about to say something when Carly burst into my room and jumped on my bed in between me and Perry.

"So how was showing that hottie Chase around?" She asked.

I smiled.
"It was fine, I guess. I never asked but how was your date with Blake?"

"It was awesome! Long story short..he asked me to be his girlfriend."

I smiled and hugged her.
"That's awesome!"

We talked a little more then we both eventually went to bed. Before I went to sleep I felt my phone vibrate and I looked down at my phone to see I got a text from two people.
