*Next Day*
Ciara's P.O.V.

I was woken up by my phone vibrating.

Gray💫: Good morning C.⛅. I'll be picking you up at 6:30 for our date

I smiled and sat up. Today was the day of me and Grayson's first date, and I was nervous. I usually never get nervous around Grayson, especially when we're just hanging out, but since we were going on a date..it was different.

Carly burst into my room.
"Why aren't you getting ready for your date with Grayson?"

"I don't know." I said fumbling with my fingers.

"Is someone nervous?" She smirked, sitting next to me.

"No." I mumbled.

"Why are you nervous? You guys are like best friends."

"Yeah..but we're not hanging out as friends..it's a date..I don't want to screw it up."

"You'll be fine." She smiled. "Do you have an outfit yet?"

"Nope."

"Well that's where we'll start." Carly said, opening my closet door.

I decided on an outfit and how to do my hair.

I put my hair up in a bun, and put on light makeup.

Carly smiled at me.
"You look amazing! Grayson's a lucky guy."

I smiled and hugged her.
"Your awesome Carls."

"It's just what bestfriends do." She shrugged, hugging me back.

As I pulled away from the hug, I got another text from Grayson.

Gray💫: Bring a bathing suit😊

I sighed and rummaged through my clothes looking for a decent two-piece. I found a black and white striped on and settled with that.

Soon it was 6:30, and I heard the doorbell ring.
Carly smiled and ran towards the door before me. She opened the door and let him in. I walked downstairs to be greeted with his presence.

His eyes widened as he bit his lip.
"Wow."

Carly smirked.
"I'll leave you two love birds alone."

We both smiled at each other as she walked upstairs leaving us two together.

"You look amazing C." He said, staring into my eyes.

"Thanks Gray." I smiled.

He snapped out of his daze and smiled at me.
"You ready?"

"Yep." I nodded.
