Chapter 57

                   Maddies POV

" Alright well I got some news..." The doctor says.

" I... is she dead?" I stutter.

" No she stopped breathing then we revived her, but the tests are saying she may die soon, well if she fights well enough it will be good."The doctor says

I feel my heart drop.

" she may die?"  Zayn asks.

" Yeah" the doctor frowns.

my breathing picks up a little, and I feel dizzy but I keep my place.

" Maddie breath" Zayn tells me.

I nod and walk away, but I turn back to ask something.

" When can she come home" I ask.

" uh about a week" I nod and walk away with no words.

Zayn grabs my hand and we walk out, we drive home this time Zayn drives this time. I dont say a word and niether does Zayn.

We get home it was snowing not that we didnt need anymore I walk inside with Zayn, everyone arrives and sits down.

" Im hungry lets go out for dinner" We get up and go to Dennys.

Everyone orders.

" Maddie order something" Harry says.

I shake my head, lou is just staring at me hes still pissed about what happened. I looked at him and stood up.

" Where are you going" Zayn asks.

" Home" I grab the keys and walk out.

" Maddie?" Zayn says.

" Yea" I say.

" Why are you going home" Zayn asks.

" im not hungry and Lou hates me" I look down.

" Maddie... you have to eat" Zayn says.

" im not hungry" I say back.

" Maddie your not going home by yourself when stephanie is out running around like a psycho!" Zayn yells.

" Zayn I can't take louis giving me death glares" I fire back.

" Stephanie will not touch me" I say

" Your not going alone I'll be right back im going to go pay" he says and I wait.

Dennys is a beautiful place with a forest infront of it then theres a path to get out with your car.

" Maddie?" I hear josh.

" oh hey josh" I smile.

" Are you okay?" he asks.

" uhm yeah just waiting for Zayn" I say.

Josh nods, we hear a branch break we turn around.

" Already found another guy to fuck around with eh mads" Stephanie walks out of the forest.

" What? hes my best friend why would I fuck him?" I say.

" Hes hot" Stephanie says.

" I concider Zayn hot, josh is cute" I say.

" Zayn is hot, lucky for me I fucked him about 10 or 11 times" Stephanie smirks.

" Thats a lie he told me he only fucked you once" I snap.

" I saved the texts and each text is on different days" she smiles and hands me her phone.

I look at her phone, all her pictures are of her and Zayns conversation.  I look back to see if Zayn is coming and when I dont see him I hop in the car and drive to the river when in upset I just like going there my mom and I used to always go when my dad hurt us.

I arrive at the place and put my beanie and gloves on, I see couples and moms and daughters.  I look over to see Cameron.

" Hey maddie" he walks over to me.

" oh hi Cameron" I say and we walk around.

                      Zayns POV

I pay for my meal.

" Where are you going" Eleanor asks.

" Well he made Maddie upset by looking at her while having a fucking death look" I point to lou.

" Im not mad at her" he says.

" Bullshit" I yell.

" Im upset that Jersey might die" he says.

" You could of fucking told her that" I say.

" Well I was going to but she got up and left" lou says.

" Shes waiting for me so you wanna talk to her" I ask louis.

" Shes driving away though"  louis points to the door.

I snap my head to see Maddies car driving away witg josh amd sephanie standing outside liam louis harry niall and the girls follow behind me as I walk outside.

" Where is she going" I grab josh by the collar of the coat.

" I dont know man I swear" josh stutters.

" I do" stephanie smirks.

" Where" I step towards her.

" She went to the river where she fell in" Stephanie smiles.

" How do you know this" I ask.

" well when I stabbed her at the hospital I put a tracking thing inside her" Stephanie laughs.

Everyone including me gets in the car and drives to the river, I see Maddie walking with. ..

CAMERON.... FUCK.

I get out of the car.

" Maddie we need to get you to tge , hospital" I say and grab her but she jerks away.

" What are you doing" she snaps.

" Stephanie put a tracking device in your stomach" I say.

" What?" She looks worried.
