Zayns POV
Its june finally. Next month is Maddies birthday. Shes turning 18 I already turned 18 in febuaray.
" Maddie?" I say.
" Yes Zayn" She smiles.
" Lets go to the beach" I suggest.
" Zayn I told you when Jersey turns 3 we will I promise" Maddie says.
" What if we get a babysitter" I ask.
" Well stephanie is in jail so uh yeah if we can" Maddie says.
" Ill call my mom" Zayn says.
" Wait she knows?" Maddie looks at me.
" yeah she wants to meet her" I say.
I call my mom and she agreed to do it. Soon theirs a knock on the door it my mom she gives me a hug and walks towards jersey.
" She is so cute" My mom says. Maddie smiles.
" Well we will be a couple hours you know what to do" I say.
" Oh Zayn before you go I have great news" My mom says.
" Yea" I say.
" my boyfriend purposed" my mom says, I say congrats and go upstairs to change maddie does the same.
Maddies POV
I walk upstairs to get a bikini. I get one its light blue strapless with matching bottoms. I put on a dress over top witg sandles and head downstairs. Chloe, niall liam ken lou el and gemma and harry are downstairs.
" Ready" Harry asks.
I nod and Zayn grabs my hand, we get in the car its an hour drive. So we stop to eat. We drive again and finally get there and we find a spot I put down a beach chair. I take my dress off and before I could sit down Zayn picks me up and brings me in the water.
" Zayn its cold" I yell while laughing.
We play around in the water, I try to run back holding hands with Zayn but we end up falling I lay on my back while the waves hit me Zayn crawls over me and kisses me.
" I love you so much Maddie" Zayn tells me.
" I love you more Zayn" I say he kisses me he helps me up and we dry off. I lay down on my chair Zayn goes next to me and grabs my hand.
" What are you reading" Zayn asks.
" Tweets" I say. Zayn grabs my phone and puts it away.
" Hey" I say.
" No phones" Zayn says.
" What?!" Ken says.
" Put the phones away" Zayn demands.
Everyone rolls their eyes and puts there phones away. We all go swim again we play catch. We go deeper and deeper.
Zayns POV
we go pretty deep, I decided to take Maddie under to kiss her but when I did she screamed then when we went under I couldnt feel her with me. I come up to find Maddie she isnt there.
" Maddie" I call for her no answer.
I start to panick, I go under to try and feel for her I cant. All of a sudden I get pulled up I look to see who it was.
Maddie....
" Who are you looking for" She laughs.
" You" I take her under and make out with her.
We come up for air. We walk out of the water and dry off. We stay to watch the sunset its so pretty. I sit next to Zayn cuddled up watching the sunset Zayn kisses me.
" Alright lets go" Liam says kens sleeping on his shoulder so he picks her up and carries her.
The drive home wasnt bad,when we get back Zayns mom is sleeping with Jersey.
Zayns mom leaves and I carry Jersey to her crib. I hop in the shower and wash my body and hair. When I get out Zayn goes in the bathroom to shower. I go to my cellar and open it I see an envelope it says Maddie.
I open it and read it....
Maddie
This letter your reading is from mom, by the time you are reading this ill be gone, I didn't want to tell you this in person because I can't stand to see you hurt. Maddie my little girl I just wanted to say that your adopted. im sorry you had to find out this way. Your parents were drug addicts so your father and I adopted you your father went crazy and abused us, but you had me your going to turn out as a beautiful women with wonderful kids, take care of my grandchildren Iove you Maddie.

I start to cry hard. im adopted why didnt my mom tell me this.
" Maddie are you ok" Zayn runs to me.
I fold the letter and put it in my pocket.
" Yes" I wipe my eyes.
" Tell me" He says.
" Nothing Zayn im tired" I say and go to bed. He climbs on and falls asleep next to me his arms around me.
