Wonder

All of our memories.

After our exhausting day at the mall, I called my mom and she came to pick us up. "So girls," She said while adjusting her rear view mirror, "what did you buy?"

"We each bought 2 different bikinis that were 30% off, 1 Indigo summer journal that came with 2 Indigo notebooks, 4 tops and 2 shorts." Said Emily proudly.

"Wait, I thought you guys wanted to get the BTS mascara? Didn't you have a gift card for Sephora?" My mom said confused. "Yah...Um, I did but...uh...we didn't have time...so yah." I didn't want my mom to know that it was because of Lucas and Madison. If she did, she would start teasing me and saying that I had a crush on him, which I do.

When we got home, I saw a huge moving van in front of my house! "Uh, mom...why is there a moving van in front of our house?" I was shocked.

"Oh yah, I called this company a week ago so they can come and move all of our stuff in our new house in Toronto! Aren't you excited! We're moving in 8 days!" She seemed so happy, so I just played along.

"Yah...totally." I'm happy that she's happy, but I can't believe she didn't tell me that we were moving right away. In 8 days!!! As we walked into the house, IT WAS EMPTY! The couch, the dining room table, the chairs, and the television! I quickly ran upstairs with Emily right behind me. There were 2 men picking up my mattress. They were just about to take it out of my room. "You can't take this!" I said as we jumped on mattress. "This is her bed, where else is she going to sleep!" Said Emily.

My mom came upstairs and told the 2 gentleman to leave my room. "Im so sorry honey. I didn't mean for them to take your bed apart, but they're going to have to take your bed frame and put it in the moving van with the rest of our stuff." Said my mom, and she left the room.

We both sat there, staring at the empty room. All that was left was my suitcase, my mattress and a few posters hung up on my blue wall. "I don't know what I'm going to do without you. You're the only friend that I've had since kindergarten." Emily said in a sad tone. "All of our memories were created in this house, and now, they're all going to disappear." As those words came out of my mouth, I saw a tear slide down her face.

We both sat there until it was supper time. My mom ordered pizza and we went downstairs to go and eat. We sat inthe floor, where our dinner table was before and we ate in silence. Nobody said a word until we left the kitchen. As we entered my room there was a shadow on my bed. Emily gasped, we were about to scream until the shadow turned around... It was Tristan! "Oh my gosh! You scared the hell out of me Tristan!" Said Emily frightening. 

"Shhhhhh! My mom could hear us!" I warned them.

"I just came by because I saw a moving van in front of your house when I came back from training. What's going on?"

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that Tristan lives right across the street from my house and Emily lives across from my backyard. A big coincidence, right?

"Um...well...my mom called a moving van to come pick our stuff up and bring it to our new house in Toronto." I said almost mumbling.

"What? When are you moving?" He said in a concerned voice.

"I think...8 days." Tristan's face became pale.

"I can't beleve it, you're going to be leaving." He seemed really sad. We stayed in a torturing silence until he finally decided to leave.

Emily and I tried to stay away from the subject for the rest of the night but it was still in the atmosphere just haunting me a bit. Emily changed into her Slytherin onesie and I changed into my Gryffindor onesie. We talked a bit longer, then went to bed.
