"NO! We can't move!!!" I said almost screaming at the top of my lungs. "I have a life here! What am I going to say to my friends! I can't leave!!!". "I'm sorry honey, but we have nothing left in this town." She said in a stern voice. "The only reason we moved here in the first place was because your father wanted to be close to his family." She said as we were packing our suitcases. I could see that she was getting angry because she shoved her clothes aggressively in her suitcase and tossed it down the stairs. "Why would your father do such a thing!" We both sat down as she started to cry. I gave her a big tight hug and I felt the tears come down my face. "Do you want me to order Indian food, Chinese food or Greek food?" I said, trying to make her feel better. "I don't know...get one of each."
My father left us 2 weeks before school ended. I skipped those 2 weeks but I went to school on the last day to go see my friends Tristan and Emily. By that time I didn't know that I was leaving Montreal, but know I can't do anything about it.
