"Don't worry father, every week I will come home. And don't worry it will only be six months. I can collect the right amount. We can pay Mrs. Madrigal the exact amount and the interest she was telling about." Melissa assures it to his father. She once more kissed him and hugged him before picking her things up.

Her father tears. No words but understanding smiles for her willing daughter to take responsibility of their debts over Mrs. Madrigal for the last ten months. They cannot pay her for too many expenses due to his father's illness. They didn't expect that simple cough was as pneumonia already.

Robert and his wife was a corn farmer but having only enough savings since. Their last bank got into the controversy of inside job robbery. Their money was included froze until the management gives them the necessary details how to get it back to them.

And now, Melissa their daughter needs to go to the city for work. They had no more for financial since her father needs medical maintenance. The corn field are no longer operational, just the fourth part of it. Just to sustain the other workers who needs too. Hoping they can bring back everything after.

She wave goodbye one last time. The bus just exactly stops in front of her and she hops in and picks her sit. She prayed and wishes for safety of her journey, and gets a job immediate.

On the road while slowly approaching the city, she can see the difference of her place from here. More buildings and higher ones, People are all in the street walking and passing in fast pace. The city was quite noisy and crowded. But to her eyes it is amazement.

"Different to look at than to watch in television," She said in a murmured manner. She smiles and looks around until the bus stops and people starting to unload. She immediately took her duffle bag and hugs it like a precious valuable of hers.

She takes a breather. Look everywhere and deciding to where to start finding an apartment or job, in any sequence she thought.

She starts to walk and looking around and observing. Too many people that's why she have to be very careful in her picked every time people asked her where she is going?, offering her different kind of things, offering her to buy some random things that she thinks not necessary for living. "No, all I need is work to earn." She answered the very eager vendor on the street sides.

Continue as she walks until she stops in front of one building, a restaurant. All she sees was a large logo and the sign of being glad that she can work here as start and if ever too be lucky enough, eat also as customer in here. "For now work, papa needs maintenance and farm field workers needs to be paid too. I can do this."

She walks in like normal customers and was held to stop by the guards of the building door.

"Where you going, Miss?"

"I saw the sign from the street and I picked it and it says they need an assistant manager." She presented the torn paper to the guard and the guard read it and meticulously looking at it.

"Right," The other guard answered and brings out same copy of the paper poster. "Take this and bring instead of that." He handed it to the lady.

"Oh! Thanks Mr., you're an Angel." Melissa gladly took it and was guided to enter at the other side of the restaurant.

She was all full concentrated looking at the ceiling and the decors of the room when a man came in. The man cleared his throat to take the attention of the lady he is looking at.

"Oh! I'm sorry for that! I'm just being amazed of the interior of this room." She honestly says with a smile in her toned face.

"Please," the man sits on one chair and pointed the chair next in front facing his view.
