Damn I could here Maria coughing to rooms down. What the hell is going on with that girl she has bin having coughing attacks for a week. I was about to open the door when it opens for me. There before me was my step brother, well the one that still lived in the house any way.

I saw his glare and gave one back. I can't even remember how many times I told him to stay the hell out of my room. “What do you want?" I asked him

“Fore you to tell your sister to stop coughing." he said back in his I'm-going-to-snap-someone's- neck tone

“You go she's your sister too." I said back at him. James just glared at me for about a minute till he gave up and said fine.

When James left my phone started to buzz saying I had a text.

From Jenny: hey want to come over tonight.

Jenny was my best friend in the world so I would go over.

To Jenny: Hell yea I need a brake away from this hell hole. I quickly sent back

From Jenny: Good pick you up at six, mk?

To Jenny: Yea sounds good. I sent hitting my lock button.

I heard my door open and when I told who ever to get out I looked over and saw James and Maria standing in the door way, but James had an arm under Maria. “Colson we have to go, like now." and from the worried look on his face I didn't hesitate.

My half brother Caleb was in his room and I told him to get into the car so he did. With James driving I was in the back with Maria and Caleb. I found out that Maria has bin coughing out blood. Trying to get her to stop I called my Dad and told him what was going on. He said he would get out as soon as he could and hung up, sighing I locked my phone and put my full attention on my sister.

It's seemed like hours till we got to the hospital and told the nurses what happened.

The doctors got Marias cough under control they put her in a bunch of x-rays and cat scans. She was finally in a room with a breathing mask on her face. Sill holding Marias hand I looked over at the boys. They were sleeping Calebs head in James lap.

I reached form my phone looking at the messages dad saying he was coming, that he was close, he was on the rode, and he was here. My step mom saying that she's just getting out of work and that she is on her way. I had a million of text from my step brothers, Aron, Jace ,And Mason asking me what the hell is going on. I text them a short story and clicked my phone off. I let go of Marias hand and put my own on my face.

“Angle?" I herd my dad call to me. “ What's going on?"

“Oh gosh Dad I don't know. Maria was coughing really bad so James went to check on her and he told me she was coughing up blood. Oh my I'm really starting  to hate hospitals." I say starting to cry. When dad pulls me to him. I hear James get up and pull me off my dad.

“We should get home my mom and the brothers will be there." he said picking up Caleb.

We walked to the car when my phone started to buzz. “Hello"

“Hey! What the hell happened I came to pick you up and I see all your brothers are here and your not so isn't James and Caleb is gone I keep asking what so going on, they just ignore me or tell me to call, you so hear I am. What is going on Willow?"

A single tear streamed down my face and I looked up into the sky. “Maria is in the hospital she was coughing up blood me, Caleb, and James are on are way home stay put." I said And hung up.

When we got home James put Caleb to bed as I told them what was going on. Jenny pulled me into a tight hug. James said he was going to go to bed but Mason knew better and said he was going to talk to him. Mason was James full brother while Maria and I was his half sisters Aron and Jace was Maria and I step brothers. So not really sure what the would be to Mason and James. My father found “love" a year after mom's death but Karry turned out to be a big druggie and gave her kids to my dad.

Jenny said she was staying to night to make sure I don't do anything stupid, that was probable a good thing because I was felling the need to. I was about to go to sleep was I herd Janes, my step mum, call everyone down.  I woke up Jenny and I saw everyone down stairs sitting down in the living room I choose the floor sitting in front of Jace. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head and rocked me back and forth. When mum began is when he stop rocking me.

“Your father called me and said they know what's wrong with Maria," I saw tears in her eyes. “The test results came back as to that Maria was positive, Maria has lu-lu-lung cancer" she spat out so quickly I didn't even realised what she said till a few seconds. When I finally understood my breathing got heavy I started to shake and hot tears started to fall from my face. Jace pulled me onto his lap and rocked me back and forth saying breath Willow breath.

Lung cancer, cancer. My sister she has cancer. Why does every one like to leave.
