Her fears were phantoms in the dark, pulling her back into the life she had abandoned. Kirsten had strayed far from God and started hanging out with the wrong people."Hey Kirs' you gotta listen to this song," my boyfriend Tommy said.
"What is it."
"Why does it matter I'm your boyfriend you should do as I suggest."
"Okay, sorry." He turns it on and I hear a chorus of four voices.
"This is nice who sings it?"
"I don't know some band named Anthem Lights."
"I'll have to check out some of their other music."
"Nah they only have a few good songs", he lowers his voice at this part, "They're a Christian band."

I'm cleaning my dorm room before my school funded trip to Nashville, Tennessee for my music class. It's not called the Music City for nothing.I start packing my bag and put on my music playlist. Tommy made the playlist for me so I don't know what all's on it. The song starts and I check to see what it is (something I do with every song.) It's song of the year medley 2007 by Anthem Lights.

Once we arrive in Nashville we're allowed to go wherever we want. Tommy heads for the first bar he sees. I start to explore the city. I spot a nice quaint restaurant and head in. I walk toward a booth and slide in. "What do you want to eat, darling?""Uh, I'll take the chicken fingers, please."
"And to drink?" The kind waitress asks.
"Uhhh, I'll have a coffee."
"Alright coming right up, hon."
Just as the waitress leaves a rowdy group of four men come inside. They sit in the booth directly behind her. The guys are laughing and chatting about a prank they just pulled on some guy named Alan.
"Did you see the look on his face the whipped cream came spouting out?" Asks one the taller guys.
"Yeah I thought he was gonna punch you, Chad."
"Nah, I've know him for a long time his punchy face is much different than his laughy face. 'Chad' says.
Just then a waitress come s to take there order and Kirsten suddenly realizes she was eavesdropping. The waitress comes to her table and sets her food down.
"Hey, hon some guy, said his name was Tommy is out front. He sounds kinda drunk, he says he's looking for you. If you want I can send him away.
"No, it's fine you can send him over."
"Sure thing, darlin'."
Tommy comes over and sits across from her at the table. He reaches his hand across the table to grab some of her fries. "Who knew you couldn't start fights in Tennessee bars. I think I perfer Chicago bars."
She looked at her semi-abusive boyfriend. "Why don't you order your own fries? Instead of eating mine."
"You can share with me, there's plenty to go around."
Just as he says this she hears the guys in the booth behind her praying. "Don't look now but those guys behind you are looking like total losers praying."
"I don't think praying is that lame, Tommy." Kirsten says with venom in her eyes.
"That's just your stupid church history coming back to bite you. I thought you were over that religious kick you had." Tommy says while reaching across the table and grabbing her arm in her firm grip and squeezing.
"Tommy your hurting me, please let go." Unbeknownst to the 'couple' the group in the next booth over heard her say these words. Looking at his band mates, Caleb and Chad had a silent conversation amongst each other. They hear a sickening pop come the next table and hear the girl try to silence her cries as her boyfriend rushes out of the restaurant.
Caleb hops out of his seat and rushes over to the girl. "Ma'am are you okay?" He questions. He then spots her wrist which is tiring purple and seems to be swelling.
"Chad, get your keys. Ma'am come with me we'll take you to the hospital."
"No, I'm okay. Anyway I don't know you people and you certainly don't know me. I shouldn't get in a car with strangers."
"I'm Caleb," he says, "That's Chad, Joey, and Spencer," he says pointing to his friends, "now we're not strangers. I think you should go to the hospital your wrist looks really bad."
"I've had worse. I'll be fine. I'm no charity case," Kirsten says trying not to cry while grinding her teeth.
"Miss really I think a hospital would be a safe bet." The shorter guy identified as Joey says.
"You're not going to leave me alone till I say yes, are you?"
"No, we're not!" They say all creepily in synch.
"Fine, take me to the hospital!"
Hey guys and gals,
Sorry for not updating this for awhile I couldn't think of anything but I'm back and I'm ready to try to make this a good story for y'all.
Lots of love, theatregirlsmp
