12.26.16 (double update!!)

He waited day and night for her, as days went by he was running out of patients and soon found himself punching walls screaming on the top of his lungs bitting his fingers do to nervousness, fighting with the guards, also bitting their fingers also do to nervousness of the consequences they all knew he couldn't handle.

3:22 at night and Minx herself almost couldn't handle not seeing him, she stayed up all night wondering when she'll be able to see him. She's has been missing out on almost everything it seemed, friends inviting her to stuff and dinner at home.

She couldn't handle the wait anymore, she got out of bed and put on clothes, skinny jeans, a grey boyfriend T- shirt and black and burgundy jacket and black vans. She didn't mind wearing her glasses.

She took her phone from her charger and put it in her back pocket, without hesitation she opened her window and jumped out landing on her feet, her adrenaline pumping.
She put her earbuds in her ears playing music loud from Billie Eilish and Blackbear.

Hayes pleasure was listening to the same artists over and over again. He laid in his bed starring at the ceiling for what feels like years and years. But yet he's been here for only a year.

He thought of the way she whispered in his ear and how she hugged him, he hasn't gotten that in forever and loved the feeling of it.

It didn't take long for Minx to arrive, she walked up to the desk and saw...no one. The lady who gave the room number to Cam, Nash, and Minx the room number the other day was gone. She frowned and looked down the hall where the room was.

"716" she said out loud reminding herself, she stood in front of the door playing with her fingers nervously. She press the button for someone to unlock the door. She waited for them to come as the elevator doors opened with a guy with the ring of keys came and unlocked the door, not even asking why a 15 year old girl wants to see a 16 year old psychopath alone3 in the morning.

She smiled "thank you" she said, he tilted his head and showed a small smile himself and backed up, arms behind his back as he began to wait for whenever he had to lock the door again.

She walked slowly up to him as he sat back facing her, but with a different pare of clothes on. "Hayes?" She said softly, nothing came back but sniffling. She bent down to his height.

"What's wrong?" She asked, he turned his head and looked at her, his eyes bloodshot. He turned around fully as they made eye contact, his arms crossed in a straight jacket and a muzzle they're treating him like a dog.

She didn't waste her time talking since he could hardly talk himself. She looked at the guard or police officer who ever he was.

She got up and started to walk over to him, Hayes watched her as tears fell down his cheeks.

"Are you crazy? Why would you do this to him?! He doesn't need that!" She yelled, he glanced down at Hayes who was sitting on the ground sobbing. The guard shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't-"

"Do you think putting him in this asylum and putting him in a muzzle for him to stop talking is gonna make him better?! I understand you're just doing your job but you crossed the line, you guys are treating him like a dog!" She felt a lump in her throat as her button lip started to shake and her eyes began to fill with tears.

She looked back at Hayes and walked to him again. She held her arms out for him to run into, even though he can't move his arms doesn't mean she's gonna stop hugging him, it was her favorite thing to do to him to make him feel safe.

She cupped the sides of his face and brushed away a tear slowly falling from his eyes. "I'm gonna get you out of here. You hear me?" She whispered, he nodded and blinked a couple of times.

"I hate seeing you with this on." Even though she's seen him twice in her life she built of the feeling of protecting him and taking care of him. She's gotta get him out of here one way or another.

She hugged him one last time, before sitting on his bed and Hayes sitting next to her. She pulled out her phone and began to show him pictures of her family and funny videos of her and her friends.

"Wanna listen to music?" She asked him, she didn't even need to see his smile she could see the way his eyes got small when his cheeks went up signaling he had a big smile on his face, she grinned.

Ocean eyes by Billie Eilish and Blackbear played softly as they both stared at the ceiling.

She glanced over to Hayes who was sitting up cause he couldn't lay down next to her with the straight jacket on, she studied over the jacket and looked for ways to get him out of the jacket.

"Hayes" she said as soon as she saw the small lock on it, the type of lock you don't need a key, the type of lock like on a belt. He turned his head and looked at her, she held herself up by her elbows and gave Hayes a small rub on the back.

"I'm gonna get you out of here" she was positive she was, and he believed her, thoughts came flying at him and ideas came through his mind. She sat up and started to unbuckle the locks and held him out of the jacket, she watched it fall.

Hayes ran his fingers through her hair and felt his stomach start doing flips and fill with butterflies, he didn't know if it's a crush or just whatever. Minx cupped his cheeks and tilted her head riding the same lock holding the muzzle

"Shhh, don't say anything ok?" She pulled on the strap and pulled it through the lock that was holding the muzzle in place. Hayes flinched as she tugged since they put it on tight.

And as soon as she got it off, she rubbed the marks on the sides of his jawline from the straps. "I'm sorry they did this to you, Hayes. I really am" she whispered as if their was a baby sleeping in the room, he closed his eyes nodded.

"Ok, we can not pass the guard outside of the door so what we're gonna do is go out this window" she said pointed at the window on the wall, he felt his stomach do flips. He played with his fingers and looked down.

She looked back at the guard, just their luck since it's now 4 in the morning he fell asleep, hopefully he's a heavy sleeper too or just one noise can wake him up and notice they're gone.

"Minx" Hayes said watching as she opened the window and used her upper body strength to hold her up, she swung a leg around the edge as she looked down at him, her eyes shined under the moon light.

"I don't think I can do this, where am I gonna go? I can't be alone you saw what they did to me just from not seeing you, Minx I think you should leave and let me be."

"Hayes, do you want me to leave you here to get tortured again and again, you saw the pain you were going through why not just live with me and live happily? I don't know much about you but I find you very thoughtful and sweet, you'll be fine." Minx meant every world she ever says, she wants Hayes and she needs Hayes.

"Minx, you don't know me." He looked down and rubbed his knuckles, his beat up and swollen knuckles he hits walls with.

"Your parents-"

"I don't live with parents, they can't see me, Nash and Cam are my new family. They'll be fine with it, please Hayes come with me."

She held her when out and looked at him hoping he'll grab ahold of her hand, which he did tightly.

And so, they escaped the asylum and walked the empty streets of North Carolina, hands in hands.
