The first time she went camping she was fourteen.

Lauren's parents had rented a beach house out for the week and offered to take Lauren and all her friends, including the girls, Zayn, Keaton, and Nial.
The boys all stayed in one room while the girls got two, three in one, two in the other, and Lauren's parents got the master bedroom on the third floor.
Ally, Normani, and Dinah were put into the room with three beds, and Lauren and Camila called dibs on the room with the queen sized bed.
"This is so cool!" Camila smiled.
"You don't know cool until you've done this.." Lauren said, walking out of the sliding door that lead to the beach.
"Lauren, what are you doing?" Camila sighed.
"You'll see." She winked, laying out a tarp on the sand a few feet from the patio.
She covered it with a sheet and dropped some extra pillows and a few thinner blankets down on in the middle of it
"Lauren, what are you doing?" She asked again.
"I'm not doing anything, Camz. WE are camping on the beach tonight." She smirked.
"Lauren, we can't sleep on the beach! We'll get in trouble!" She whined.
"Camz, Come on! It's private property, plus it's supposed to be super clear tonight! No clouds anywhere, which means we can see all the stars no problem." Lauren explained. "You can't let opportunities like these go to waste Camz, that's like cosmic damnation! What if you never get a chance to do something like this ever again? Then you'll be totally bummed out, and as your best friend, I don't want to hear you moping your whole life about the time you were too goodie goodie to sneak out and spend the night on the beach, camping out, and watching the stars with me."
"If I do it will you stop talking?" Camila laughed.
"Hey, you love when I talk! However, if it will get you to come sleep outside with me, yes, I'll stop, but before I do, you have a funny laugh." She smiled. "It's all cutesy."
