"Here" he said handing her a box covered in brightly colored paper.
"You didn't have to get me anything" she said carefully peeling away the paper.
"It's Christmas and you're one of my best friends." He replied.
She opened the box to reveal the one thing she wanted the most that Christmas, the one thing she didn't get, a book. Although it may seem boring it was her favorite book a book she read long ago in a library a book about her favorite things. She had been asking for that book for years but no one would ever get it for her until now. She had had a crush on him for a while since the beginning of the year she had been tempted to kiss him before but now she couldn't resist. Without thinking she leaned forward giving him quick kiss on the cheek. She pulled away leaving him shocked.
"I-I'm sorry" she said looking down embarrassed "I wasn't thinking I shouldn't hav..." She was cut off as his lips crashed against hers.
"I always thought I'd be the one accidentally kissing you" he said stepping back looking at her the bright smile on her face the joyous look in her eyes.
