I'm pissed. I shouldn't have blown up on my mate like that. It's just that I don't like remembering those images. "Hey, Dan." Kitty said walking into my room. I looked up seeing she had Felix in her arms. "Yeah?" I said. She said, "Felix was scratching at the door. Is Phil here?" "No, Phil went home after I stormed off." I said. Kitty asked, "Why'd you storm off?" "Because I got mad at Phil for something he didn't know about." I sighed rubbing my eyes. Kitty said, "Because o your parents, right? Which is why you've been kinda moody towards Jake. You know your parents aren't alive and it was easier for you to believe everyone else was dead." I just nodded not wanting to have this conversation again. Kitty sat down next to me leaning her head on my shoulder asking, "Do you think my parents are alive?" "I don't know Kitty." I sighed. She continued, "If they're alive, do you think  they're missing me?" "I'm sure they are Kitty. Your parents loved you so much. Enough so that I was the only kid allowed to play with you, hold you, and help take care of you." I admitted. Kitty looked at me saying, "I never knew that." "Yup." I said  with a shrug. I started to get this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach when my phone rang. "Hello?" I said. The person on the other line said, "Dan? Hun. Is Phil at your house?" "No, Ms. Lester. He should've been home after walking me half way to my house. Though, Felix is over here." I replied. Ms. Lester said, "He's not here. I tried calling his cell three times in the past hour and he hasn't picked up. He always answers his phone unless he's asleep." "Don't worry Ms. Lester. I'll find Phil. I promise." I said. She responded, "Thank you Dan. Appreciate it." and hung up. Then I felt a burning in my stomach where the bad feeling was. I fell of my bed in pain. "DAN! DAN!" Kitty said. I don't know what's happening. Just know that Phil is in trouble. A pain filled scream left my lips. Felix was at my face in seconds.
