              Soda's POV
Amanda sat down next to me looking sorry for me. Why should she be sorry? She didn't do anything, I did. And unfortunately, I've had a problem with that and I don't know why, it just happens. No thoughts go through my mind.
She was just staring at me like I just killed someone or something. I might as well have cause there wasn't a difference of what the outcome almost was.
"Tell me." She hesitantly demanded me.
There was a lump in my throat and I was trying to speak but I couldn't get the words out. Then I could finally get something out.
"H-how much" I managed.
"All of it. From the beginning." Great how am I supposed to do that.?
"O-ok. Here w-we go." I took a big breath."So we - me and Sandy were together for a long time. I loved her. But she- she got pregnant w-with another guys baby." I took a second.
"Oh, Soda, I'm-" I cut her off.
"Then she left. It was hard. Sooo, after a while, I met......M-Maddie." She cut in again.
"And that's her sc-"
"Yes. Anyway, I loved Maddie with all my heart. And I have no idea why I did it I don't know why I couldn't just use my damn mind for once!" I said gradually raising my voice. "Sandy just had to come back. She's such a bitch you know? She chose to leave me. But that just shows how much control she still had over me. I-I ch-cheated on Maddie with stupid Sandy. Sandy! And i hate myself everyday for it! And she found out a-and she ran away- out that very door with the most disappointed and let down look I've ever seen. I couldn't stop her. She ran into the road  a-a-and got hit by a car." I said more quietly. I went to the hospital as fast as I could and she was asleep for 2 weeks. I didn't find out till later that she was p-pregnant with my b-baby." Saying that again sent chills down my back. "When she woke up the doctors told us that she lost the baby. She couldn't even look me in the face! She left to go see her family in Illinois and never came back and this scarf is all I have left of her. A-and sometimes I have to keep reminding myself that I should move on a-and get rid of it...... but- but it's just hard ya know?"
"Soda, I won't judge you for the past. I believe you can change if you're around the right people. But maybe you should consider getting rid of her scarf. I mean, how long has it been?"
"Ummm, almost a year." I responded and almost on cue there was a knock at the door.

              Amanda's POV
When we got near the door we saw Darry staring at a woman with long brown hair, a little darker than mine, who was smiling. I looked over at soda and he looked like he has just seen a ghost or something. At that very moment I hear Soda say just under a whisper, "Maddie".
