Chapter 7. I won't go.

Joker's Pov:

"We are going to the place I was born at?" I say. Harley just won't leave me alone. Honestly I don't want her to. But I have to. Well I might as well destroy her look and then leave. She would be so sad. I laugh to myself.

I open the door for her she gets out. We walk up all the long stairs to get to the very top. This place is abandoned now after my incident with the batman here. They had it shut down but it still contained the acid that once burned my skin,  turning me into this monster I am. We reach the very top. "Question." I say. "Would you die for me?" I ask. "Yes." She says with no hesitation. "No that's to easy. Would you...would you live for me?" I ask. "Yes." She says with a shaky voice. I walk over to her, " Carefull do not say these words under oath." I say I walk over to her. Her body tenses up. "Desire becomes surrender. Surrender becomes power." I put my hand over her mouth. "You want this?" I ask brushing my finger on her bottom lip. "I do." She speaks up. "Say it. Say it. Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty."I say throwing my head back. "Please." She says finishing my sentence in a shaky voice. "Oh God you just so....good." I say in a low voice. She already knew what she had to do. She probably wont even do it. She looks me straight in the eyes, holds her hands out, and falls. She actually did it. Well at least now she's out the picture. I turn to walk away but then I stop. She actually jumped in for me. She would die for me. She would change her whole appearance for me. I cant just leave her here. Maybe I do love her. Fuck. I take off my jacket and jump in to save her.

Harley's Pov:

I know what I have to do. I'm probably going to die right in this moment but it doesn't matter unless it's for him. I would do anything for him. I'm going to die today. I cant swim. I look him straight in the eyes. I want him to know that I love him. I put my arms out and jump. I feel the wind as I fall faster and faster. I hear a splash as I enter the chemical acid. It burns. It burns my skin. I feel numb. I sink to the bottom.I don't even try to swim I just stay there waiting for my fate. He left me here. He left. Those are my last thoughts before I am slipping into unconsciousness but before I do. I hear a faint splash.

Joker's Pov:

I jump in to save her. Damn Harley, she went to the bottom. I feel the burn on my skin again. Remembering that day. It doesn't really burn that much as it use to. I pick her up. She gasp for air. She looks up at me and smiles. The acid makes the color of our clothes fade. The colors surround Harley. One side, blue one side, pink when met in the middle its purple. I kiss her. She kisses back. I laugh throwing my head back. She laughs with me. Her beautiful voice echoed in my ears. She pulls me back into the kiss. The taste of acid on her lips. We get out the acid. Her hair is stained, blue and pink, her skin is now pale white as mine. She's more energetic. More colorful. More happy. With me. "Ow." She says touching her skin. "Ow ow ow." She says laughing. She's truley insane now. Just like me. She cries touching her skin. Shit. It's her first time in the acid. Her skin must be on fire right now. I pick her up and put her in the car. "Where are we going now?" She asks. "We are going home." I say speeding off.

I turn on the shower. "Ok now you have to undress and get in." I say. "I cant. It hurts too bad. You have to do it" She cries. This is going to be the first time I see her naked body. I start to undress her and make sure I don't hurt her. I put her on the shower floor. She's so soft. "Thank you." She manages to get out. I kiss her forehead and stay with her until she feels better.
