It's been a while since the attack on the Justin. Draco and I, since then, have become distant.
We haven't made eye contact, I've embarrassed him at dueling club. I've made him not even want to see me. Fred and I had our times to hang out every so often. Harry and the rest of the trio still had no clue.
Other than that, the common room is way quieter, more calm, more lonely.
The Holiday season was upon us, and Liza and I were freezing in the dorms. Trying our best to keep warm.
"Nova!" Liza squeaked keeping my thoughts away.
"Yes?" I sighed as I looked at her. She shook her head.
"I've been telling you some things and you haven't even been listening?" she partly screamed.
"I'm sorry Liza, I'm still just thinking," I rubbed my eyes.
"It wasn't your fault," she sighed, "you have a lot on your plate."
"Huh?" I said as she now sighed. I refused to tell her about the whole Polyjuice potion, however, I assumed she knew. She just knew not to ask me about it since Hermione is a control freak about some things and hates other people within the group.
"With the heir of Slytherin," She smiled.
"Yeah. How long do you think everyone's going to hate me?" I sighed. "To be fair, it does seem likely what they're all thinking."
The rumors now had developed to how I was going for even the purebloods, or how I tried to kill Miss Noris because I hate Filch, and I also tried to kill Colin because he loved Harry more than me, and Harry was next since "I believed he wasn't the true heir".
"Who knows," She said.
"Liza, I hate this," I said.
"I know."
"Well, I best go see Fred some more before school is just canceled." I sighed.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Liza, think about it!" I said getting up and walking around, "whatever or whoever is attacking all the students here, the school will be closed soon, I have a feeling about it."
"Don't worry about it, let's go get dressed, dinners another hour," She said getting up and running to our room. I followed her as she threw a dress to me.
"You look pretty," She smiled, "Fred's going to love it!"
"Thanks?" I said as I went to straighten my hair.
"Does Harry know yet?" She asked me. I shook my head
"Not a clue," I smiled.
"Could I just-"
"Don't give him a hint, he has to find out by himself."
"What about Hermione or Ron?" She asked.
"I think they have their suspicions."
"I'm curious as to why Ron hasn't said anything, he just thinks he's your best friend- well he is."
I smiled as we made our ways to the Great Hall. I went absolutely nowhere without Liza. She was my best friend now.
"Well thank you," she grinned taking a bite into a roll. I felt a tap on my shoulder to see Snape. He handed me a piece of parchment.
