I walked very quietly to my common room to get a few things. I don't think Hermione would want me to be in the room tonight.

I sighed and began to walk up the long stairs to my room. Poor Liza's gonna have to deal with Hermione tonight. I didn't want her to, but she wouldn't dare say anything to Liza's face what she said to me.

She makes me so mad when she thinks I want this to happen. All she's doing is making it harder for me to think that I'm not evil. I heard a door open from behind me when I herd a cough. I turned to see Draco.

"Hey, um, I think you left something earlier," he said scratching his head.

"What?" I asked sitting on the steps.

He handed me the necklace as I looked at him confused.

"Why are you so nice to me when nobody's around?" I asked looking up at him. He moved over to the steps with me.

"I-I'm just worried," he said.

"About your image?" I asked quite annoyed.

"No, I'm worried about you," he whispered chuckling.

"Wait, why me?" I asked.

"You seem to really like this boy, and when I come in the picture-"

"He's not too fond of you," I laughed.

"Speaking of which, how long?"

"About 4 months," I laughed softly, "it's been that long."

"Well, I hope you and Ron are happy-"

"Ron?" I laughed, "no I'd never date Ron. If anything Hermione likes Ron."

"Granger and Weasley? I knew it," he scoffed.

"Draco-"

"I'm sorry," he sighed, "well is it one of the twins? I see you with them all the time."

"Yes," I smiled, "it's Fred. I thought you'd know since-"

"You kissed him last year," he said softly, "we will still be friends right?"

"Most definitely, as long as you don't make fun of any of my friends."

"But-"

"No Draco!" I partly screamed as he nodded and sat back. We both sat in silence. It was excruciating to sit through.

"You know, I meant it right?" He said finally breaking the silence.

"Meant what?" I asked playing with my thumbs.

"You know," he said laughing, "you really are beautiful like Aphrodite."

"Wait, how'd you know I was there?" I asked.

"I know of the cloak, I know your brother would come and try to ask me and see if I knew anything about the Chamber of Secrets and, I'm not that daft, Nova," he smiled as I let out a short laugh.

"Shoot," I said as I sighed and set back in my seat.

"Nova, I promise I really don't," he sighed, "do you not trust me?"

"I do, I wasn't thinking strait," I sighed.

"That Hope girl, she seems to really care for you," he said softly as I nodded.
