"tyler, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" the preacher said.

"i do." i said calmly, even though i was anything but calm.

"josh, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" the preacher said once again.

"i do." he said with a huge smile on his face, making me giggle.

"you may now kiss the groom." the preacher said finally, me and josh leaning in, sealing our marriage.

we finally did it, we got married.

~

"dad!" ruby yelled, josh running to her immediately.

"yes?" he said after a second.

"how did you and daddy meet?" she asked innocently.

"well, rue, we met when we were babies, but my very first memory was with ty. we were four and we met one of our friends, aunt mel in preschool. aunt mel and auntie hals got married too." josh explained, my mind going back to that day, making me smile.

"daddy, what is your favourite memory?" ruby asked innocently, making me smile even more.

"my favourite memory is when me and joshie became boyfriends in fifth grade." i said, emphasising 'boyfriend' making her fake gag.

"ew." she said, making us laugh.

"come here joshie, give tyler a kiss." i said gesülzt (it autocorrected from cheesily to this and it's funny)

we puckered our lips dramatically, leaning towards eachother, ruby running away, yelling and covering her eyes.

"you are gross!" she yelled from her room, making us laugh again.

13 year old ruby

"dad! daddy!" rue yelled from her room.

"yes?" we said in unison.

"i just got a girlfriend!" due yelled, making us smile and hug her.

"what's her name?" josh asked.

"ryan!" she said eacitedly.

"mel and halsey's daughter?" i asked confused.

"yep." she smiled happily, popping the p.

"who asked out who?" josh asked cheesily, making a dramatic white girl voice, making rue laugh.

"she did." she blushed, us smiling.

"i knew you wouldn't baby, you're too chicken." josh said happily, all of us hugging her.

high school graduation

"ruby dun-joseph!" the speaker said from the mic.

rue walked up on stage, obviously nervous.

"hello! i'd like to thank my dad's, josh and tyler for making me the person i am! i love them, id also like to thank my beautiful girlfriend ryan for being patient with my annoying little butt, thank you all!" she said happily, grabbing her diploma and sitting down with us.

i felt tears well up i my eyes as we saw our little baby walking towards us happily.

"you did so good baby!" we said in unison, hugging her, i started crying.

i just realised how old my baby is getting.

ruby and ryan's wedding

"i now pronounce you, wife and,,, wife!" the preacher said questioning.

he was the same preacher that wedded me and josh.

they kissed and went to the other building for the after party.

"dad, daddy!" ruby said happily, hugging us.

"hey baby!" josh yelled over the music, smiling.

"i loved it baby girl!" i yelled happily at her, hugging her again.

"thank you so much for putting all of this together.

"anytime baby, anytime." josh said happily, hugging her again.

~

josh and i were both in our hospital beds, 75 and josh still looked beautiful.

"i love you tyty." josh said weakly, holding his hand out to me, signalling for me to hold it.

"i love you too joshie." i said, getting out of breath from moving so much.

"i'm so glad we made it together." josh said, smiling weakly.

"we did it, we made it." i said, voice croaking from age.

"through it all baby."

"through it all." i said, the world going black.

"i love you ty." i heard softly.

"i love you too, joshie." i croaked weakly, everything going away as i faced death.
