the bad guy will always have motives to lure you in, deep.

;

"wait, you know him?" seulgi's eyes widened form the bartender's response. the bartender stifled a low chuckle that can be heard even though he wore a face mask. "yeah, he's a regular here though." his voice wasn't deep like she thought and might be just around her age.

"interesting." seulgi remarked before drinking half of her whiskey. she scratched her nape, wanting the information she's getting to sink in. "does he often come here?"

the young bartender attended to another couple beside seulgi, offering them shot glasses and poured hard drinks before answering, "not that often though."

seulgi sighs before intensely looking at the bartender. she squints her eyes, not liking the sight of familiarity which she shrugs at and instead, "you're hot," she commented without any hesitations. "for a bartender."

his eyes really seemed recognizable but she wasn't sure where she saw him or does she even know him? his aura is also nothing of a bartender. she told herself that maybe she's getting drunk or something. the bartender also gazed at her like he wanted to see her.

it was indeed strange.

"fiery eyes." seulgi observed again before averting her stare. "i'm sure you have a girlfriend." seulgi doesn't bother it though. she needed to get her mind off the triad's silly games and the mission, she must accomplish it to bring honor.

"i'll take that as a compliment." the bartender says, shoving her another shot glass of whiskey. "you do have a thing for whiskeys."

"yeah," seulgi grunts, "a whiskey called you."

the bartender grinned from amusement that is hidden by his mask. "i think i have met all kinds of people here yet. everyone that came here are just so interesting."

seulgi just stared at the bartender. she doesn't know but there's something definitely eye catching about him. there's some unexplainable magnet that she doesn't know if it's a good sign or not.

she drank the leftover whiskey. her alcohol tolerance is high and she knew how to handle herself once she got drunk.

"ouch," seulgi pretended to be hurt, "i thought i was special but then you said everyone is interesting, ouch." her arms flew to her chest, acting like she'd been stabbed.

the bartender retorted, "don't worry," then he leaned a bit closer that she could smell his strong scent. "i have my eyes on you."

"then you better not fall for me."

"why would i fall for you?" he leaned back.

"because i always fall for bad guys."

the bartender seemed to be very intrigued of her, "bad guys are sinners. they can offer you a gun rather than a smile."

seulgi thought that the bartender was getting poetic but she doesn't mind, "it's actually tempting to hold that gun." seulgi was also into the weird conversation. "bad guys have that history. no person is bad at birth."

"they kill." the bartender drew out sharp words along with a jagged inhale of breath. "they will kill you."

seulgi doesn't know if he's warning her or giving her mind games, "then i kill them back." she replied before scanning her environment. trying to find something that is connected at the seoul's triad but there was nothing there, at least.
