When Monday came rolling in, Kylie still wouldn't talk to to me. We passed by each other at the staircase for breakfast, but by the way she gave me the cold shoulder told me that she was still mad at me. I don't blame her; I was a jerk. Even I wouldn't be able to forgive myself that easily if I were in her shoes.

But Kylie and I's feud made things really uncomfortable for Casey at breakfast. He didn't say anything, and he didn't need to; because his actions and facial expressions gave it all away. By the time we'd finished breakfast, Kylie was the first to leave the dining room and I sighed before putting my dirty plate in the sink and walked back to fetch my bag. I hooked it on my shoulder and was about to catch up with her when Casey quickly stood up and grabbed me by the wrist.

"Tay-Bear, I know it's not my business as to why you and Kylie are fighting, but you should talk to her and work things out. I'd hate to see your friendship end badly." He said which managed to tug at my heartstrings.

Why are they getting along so fast and so well? Wait, I shouldn't be thinking like this. I should get over him already and move the fuck on. But as much as my pride hates to admit, Blondie had a point. I needed to fix things with Kylie. I looked down to his massive hands that were still holding my wrist and then looked up at him.

"Don't worry, I will." I said, and slowly pulled my wrist free.

And for a brief moment there, I caught a taken aback look on his face by my previous action but he quickly switched it with a curt nod and a polite smile. With the annoying sting I felt in my chest, I walked out of the room and headed to my car, where Kylie was already leaning on it whilst playing with her phone.

"Get in, McHardy." I told her and unlocked the car. I got in the drivers seat and started the engine. Not long after that, Kylie got in moodily and slammed the door shut.

I rolled my eyes and sighed before backing out the driveway and drove to school silently. Thank God Casey's car had arrived so he could drive himself to school. And won't have to catch rides with me anymore.

When we arrived, Kylie quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car before making her way to the entrance. I decided to ignore her and got out of the car myself with my bag in tow and closed the door before locking it. I might have gotten out too fast because I suddenly felt light headed. I shook my head and began to walk right behind Kylie.

When lunch time came, I quickly gathered my things and ran out of the class to find my best friend walk past me with a shove on my shoulders and I scoffed. Really, she was going to act like this? I needed to put a stop to this sooner than I thought. All day I have been playing along with Kylie's antics but this was getting ridiculous. I quickly slammed my locker door shut and ran to catch up with her. But trying to catch up with someone in a hallway filled with what was probably over fifty students of all different shapes and heights was proving to be a difficult task. So I screamed her name out.
