"How are you holding up?" Caleb asked me as we were walking through the school's hallway. "Just buried one of my best friends. Just a year ago I buried my sister" I said and put his arm around me. "Thanks for being here for me" I said. "Hey, you gave me a home, least I can do" He said and we said goodbye. "Aria" I yelled and hurried over to her. "Hey, what are you doing with him?" She asked. "We're friends" I simply said "And roommates, but don't tell the other girls" I told her and she promised me to keep it to herself.

"What are you doing after school?" I asked her. "Oh, I'm studying. Can't get anything in my head right now" She said and I hugged her "It's gonna be okay" I told her.

After school I was home sitting in the living room. I was alone since my brother was still at work and Caleb was god knows where, when I suddenly heard voices from the hallway. The curious girl I was I went to the front door and listened to their conversation. "Please just be there for me" A female said and I immediately recognized the voice. "What?" I whispered and continued listening. "You wanna come in?" A male voice said, which I identified as Mr. Fitz. I didn't wait any longer and opened the door, facing both of them. They were looking shocked at me and let go of each other.

"Lauren" Aria said shocked. "Studying?" I asked confused. "What are you doing here?!" Aria asked. "I live here, what are you doing here?!" I asked her, looking from my teacher to my best friend, back at my teacher. "How about we don't talk about this on the hallway" Aria said and looked at Ezra, who let us into his apartment, even if he didn't really want to. "What is going on here?!" I asked, looking at the two of them.

"We met in a bar the day I came back and made out. Next day I found out that he was my teacher. I could stop my feelings and fell for him even more and we ended up dating" Aria decided to tell me all. "Okay, first things first. I'm not gonna tell anyone. I did somethings myself that I am not proud of back in Willow Lake. I am not going to judge you and I'm not going to say anything against it" I said and they looked relieved.

"Also it's weird to live right across a teacher" I added and looked around, then back at them "Whenever you need to talk Aria, you know where to find me and you can use me as an alibi if you need to" I said and she thanked me "I'm gonna go" I said and went back to my apartment, when my phone beeped. Aria hooking up with a teacher, sound familiar? -A

I sighed and laid down on the couch and grabbed my laptop and decided to check my Facebook. Out of boredom I went through my old messages, when one group chat caught my eye. It was called My Gals. I clicked the chat. Everyone was still in the group. I was about to log out of Facebook, when I got a message.

How are you doing? I felt a little weird reading that message. Not so well at the moment I answered. Sam?  She asked. No, not exactly. Attended a funeral of a friend yesterday I told her. Shit! Where you close? She asked. Pretty close actually I told her, fighting with my emotions to take control over my body. If you want to, you can call me. I miss you she wrote and I sighed, before typing my answer I miss you too.

I closed my laptop and grabbed my phone and starred at the contact for a while, before I hit the call button. "Hello?" She answered the phone. She didn't know it was me, since I had changed my phone number since I left Willow Lake. "Hey" I said and she immediately seemed excited. "Hey Ren, I'm so sorry for your loss" She said. "Thanks Arielle, it's was horrible. I was so much reminded of Sam and the year before that was torture as well. She suddenly disappeared and was missing for a year before they found her body" I told her. Back in Willow Lake she was one of my best friends. We were a group of five, just like my group in Rosewood. "Must have been hell" She said and I nod and sighed "How's it going with you guys?" I asked her, trying to change the topic away from me "The threats stop?" "No, still going. The girls and I aren't talking anymore. They have changed so much. Jack became the school's slut and It-Girl, while Felicia got more and more into sports. Did yours stop?" She asked and I didn't know what to answer her, but then my brother walked in "Bye Em" I said and quickly hung up before Arielle could say something.
