"Wow, I can't believe that you got reservations here!" Brielle exclaimed as the two sat out on the patio that hung over the ocean shore. They were having dinner at one of the most famous restaurants in the city.

Julius grinned, "I got some connections."

The two continued to chat and eat when Brielle asked about the cliff incident.

"So do you have any leads on who saved you?" Brielle asked curiously, praying he doesn't say something like a mermaid saved him.

Julius paused and thought for a second, "I recalled my friend said that the paramedics got a call from a female that they saw me on shore, but when the paramedic and my friend came they saw no one," He stated when Brielle froze for a second.

Someone called the paramedics? Oh god, I hope they didn't see me.

Brielle bit her lip, "Hmm, that's a bit strange. Do you think it was someone who didn't want to see you?" She asked as Julius shrugged.

"I get a lot of girls who get shy to talk to me at frat parties or at libraries, but am I really that intimidating that they couldn't be next to me when I almost drowned?" Julius questioned as Brielle gulped guiltily. I mean, she couldn't really stay next to Julius or she would get apprehended by the police or something.

"Oh are you really popular?" Brielle asked curiously, as she wanted to diverge the topic.

Julius shrugged, "I guess? A lot of my friends say that I am but I really don't notice. I mean I do get invited to date functions, but I don't think it's that big of deal. And shouldn't I be asking you that?" Julius responded as Brielle gave him a look.

"What do you mean by that?" Brielle asked.

"I have a friend or two that went to your high school and when I told them who I was living with, they got so jealous. Apparently you and your sisters were really popular back at your home. And when I asked other friends about you, they called the mysterious attractive girl," Julius explained as Brielle's face grew red.

Shit I didn't want to be that known on campus. Brielle thought to herself.

"U-um wow, I never really noticed. I was so busy with classes and volunteering that I didn't notice I acquired a nickname here," Brielle laughed nervously.

Julius smiled, "Well at least you're focused on your studies. Better than going on a million dates," He replied trying to make the situation a bit positive.

Brielle laughed, "I guess you're right."

Brielle stopped laughing when she saw Julius with a serious face, "Is something the matter?" She asked.

Julius shook his head, "I really want to ask you on more dates, is that okay?" He asked with the utmost seriousness as Brielle widened her eyes.

"S-sure."

Julius smiled and took Brielle's hands and held them, "That's great! I love getting to know you."

"I knew it!" Brielle shouted in frustration as she sat on the toilet as Stella sat down many jarred plants, some looking like plain seaweed while others looked like they came from an alien planet. Brielle looked at her phone as she combed the front of her hair in frustration. A big pot sat on top of an induction cooktop in front of the window.

"What's wrong?" Stella asked hesitantly.

"You remember how some of the ingredient are really specific? Well there is one we are missing and apparently it won't be ready till January at the latest..." Brielle informed.
