F-Zero: The Rising Hero

         After the race, Ace was in the racers garage of the Green Amazone. He was really depressed over his second place. What would he do now? He couldn't go back to the orphanage, he was too old to stay there anymore, and he couldn't stay here. A voice disrupted his thoughts: "You raced really well out there," the voice said. "Yeah, well enough to lose, Ace replied still sad. "That's not the point," the voice continued. "You were the youngest racer out there, and you came back alive. You may not think so, but that's impressive."

     Ace turned around to see the source of the voice. It was a beautiful woman wearing a purple and white race suit, she had long dark brown hair and a pretty smile. "Who are you?" Ace asked her. "My name is Jody Summer," the woman replied. "I'm a representative of the galactic space federation." Jody Summer extended her hand to him and Ace shook it. "Nice to meet you," he said. "What exactly is the federation looking for Ma'am?" "More likely me," Jody responded. "I'm looking for a recruit. One to help me fight nefarious space villains." "Space villains?" Ace wondered out loud, the young racer had no idea what she was talking about. 

  "Each race, there are numerous criminals that enter races," Jody explained. "They need to be stopped and arrested, we need an extra hand to help us." Jody was positive that this young man would be perfect, but Ace was still unsure. "I'm not sure I can accept your offer Ma'am," Ace told her. "My racing skills aren't good enough to join your group."

  "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," Jody told Ace. "Even Captain Falcon didn't turn it down." Ace's eye widened when he heard that name. Even he knew who that was. "Captain Falcon?" He asked. "THE Captain Falcon? The greatest F-Zero racer ever?" Jody nodded and smiled: "Captain Falcon was a former cop of the galactic space federation, but now he's a bounty hunter/racer. If you join us, I promise I can introduce you to him."

Ace was trying not to geek out. He, like all fans would love to meet Captain Falcon, maybe he could get Falcon to train him, so he could be as good as him! "You got a deal ma'am," Ace beamed.
