[Jk's perspective]
"Cmon just ring the bell!" Jimin-hyung pushed me a little bit aside. "Or I will."
I clenched my teeth and pushed him back. "Just.. let me prepare.." I mumbled. "YOU'VE BEEN PREPARING FOR TEN MINUTES JUST RING THE BELL." Jimin complained.
I took a deep breath, looked at Jimin and then at the doorbell. "JUST DO IT." He mouthed.
I slowly raised my hand, shaking, and then rang the bell.
No answer.
I rang the bell again.
No answer again.
"I think I'm going crazy... Why isn't she opening the door?!" I yelled quietly since it was late already.
"What if she's not home?" Jimin asked with his eyes slowly widening. "WHAT IF SHE MOVED?" Both of us gasped.
"Ahaha.. no way. She would've told me." I laughed, nervously.
"Aw man we shouldn't have made this a surprise. Let's just text her." Jimin rolled his eyes.
Suddenly the door opened in a rush.
"What the hell do you think you're doing at this hour? Get away, you little punks!" An old grumpy looking lady yelled at us.
"I'm sorry ahjumma... Are you Y/n's grandma by any chance?" I asked, bowing 90°.
The old lady sighed and started mumbling: "Aiishh.. I didn't know Y/n had a boyfriend.."
Jimin started giggling behind me but stopped quickly once I elbowed him.
"She meant me." I hissed at him. "Uhm.. I'm y/n's childhood friend and this is my friend who decided to come with me." I pointed at Jimin who glared at me.
"You kids don't seem to be from here aye?" Her satoori was pretty strong.
"We're actually from Busan too but we spent a lot of time in Seoul.." Jimin said, smiling nicely.
"Ah.. I see. It's freezing out here isn't it? Do you kids want to come in?" she asked.
"Uhm.." I looked over my shoulder and saw Jimin hyung making a 'x'-sign with his fingers. "We're actually in a real hurry. Can you please just tell us Y/n's address? We need to see her as soon as possible." I bluffed.
"Yes of course! Let me just look up her address.. She moved because of school you know.?"
Me and Jimin nodded as she disappeared in the kitchen.
"For a moment I thought she was going to call the police for disturbance at nighttime.. phew." Jimin sighed and wiped sweat off his forehead.
"Me too.. The way she called us punks reminded me of Y/n tho." I smirked.
"Well, okay." Jimin took a look around the area. "Pretty nice here."
Few minutes later the ahjumma came back with a small slip of paper.
"Here. The address and her phone number are written on it."
I gently took it and bowed again.
"Thank you for helping us find her." I said.
"If you kids weren't that handsome I wouldn't have given it to you.." She grinned. "When you meet her, tell her to visit me more often! I miss her so much."
"I'll make sure to tell her, ahjumma." Jimin Said in a sheepish tone.
"Bye!" We waved her goodbye as she shut the door with a pleased expression.
"Okay. Now let's get going."
