A Supernatural Comic-Con

Chapter 31

    "you make some freaking awesome waffles!" Jared beams at me. i smile and take a bite of mine, as Jensen carries amber in over his shoulder. i chuckle and shake my head it makes me so happy to see her with someone she loves. Jared leans closer to me noticing me watching them. "they look great together don't they?" i kiss Jared's slightly scruffy cheek "their in love, of course they look good together." Jared smiles back at me "ya know Jensen's not the only one in love..". i grab his hand that rests on the table "oh yea. who?" Jared pulls me close "well as a matter of fact i am. i'm in love with you, val. head over heels". 

  i cant help but fight back tears. just those few short sentences mean so much to me.      the waffles didn't last very long. amber and Jensen decide to have a movie day after breakfast as a break from what we've been through. i opted for us to all make a day of it almost like a double date, but it seems Jared had other plans and asked Jensen and amber to go with us.so we watch as Jensen and amber head up stairs briefly to change. when we're finally  alone Jared turns to me. "i want to show you something. well its more of a way to prove to you how much i love you" he lets me go change into something nice and make my way back.

     The more excited I get it seems Jared grows more anxious like there's something he's got on his mind. Me and amber sit in the back with Jensen sitting shotgun.  Finally Jared steps out and I swear for a single second I can see his hands shaking. I expect him to open the door for me. Yea I know so old fashioned but it's the kind of thing he would do. instead he taps on the window beckoning for Jensen to step out. i scrunch my eyebrows in confusion, why is Jared acting so weird? i look to amber is Jensen acting weird to you or is it just Jared. up until just now i hadn't noticed, but theirs something on her mind to, i see a lot of hand waving but i cant really tell what their saying.  "maybe the cars out of gas?" amber says trying to come up with a logical reason for us to be sitting here on the side of the road.  

  finally Jared and Jensen hop back in, and Jared actually seems more calm and collected. we pull back leaving amber's so called car trouble in the wind. we only drove maybe ten more minutes before we stop and Jared hops out. he sprints through the woods  coming back about five minutes later. he opens the car door for me finally and i stretch my legs. he takes my hand as Jensen calls to us " ill be there in a minute. him and amber stay behind as we head through a trail leading to the most beautiful place iv ever seen. Jared leads me to a bench before reaching behind me picking a beautiful flower and handing it to me. "val, we may have only met two weeks ago, but i just know. i know that i love you and i want to spend the rest of my life with you.

i feel my heart start to race theirs no way. Jared lifts himself from the bench to get on one knee :val, i love you i never believed what they said about true love. hell i wasn't even interested in looking for it until i saw you in that line so calm but grinning. i knew you where the one for me then and there. will you marry me? i wipe away tears not that it does any good because i'm sobbing. i nod whispering yes multiple time as i wrap him in a hug and kiss him. we pull apart and i hear sniffing, then clapping. Jensen and amber pry themselves from a bush they where hiding in. amber comes through the bushes sniffing and clapping "that was beautiful!" and i see a gleam in Jensens eye as he remembers a question he never go the answer to.
