Tobias Eaton was and still is an intriguing man. But the second he told me I was different, was the moment I think shaped my life for the better. Anyway, back to the story. Tobias questioned my bumps and bruises, which still ached.

"My boyfriend, Peter gave them to me." I replied shyly, having a panging feeling that I can trust him. He immediately replied, shocked.

"Boyfriend? If he treats you like that, he doesn't deserve such a beautiful girl like you."

"I'm not beautiful." I believed that I wasn't. Let's just say Tobias changed that.

"Your long golden hair. Baby blue eyes. Perfect body. God what isn't there to love?"

"My hair is dirty and greasy. My eyes can turn to a rather ugly green, and I have no chest, and I am tiny. What is there to love?" I questioned, contradicting him.

"Have it your way. Anyway, you need something for your head. Take some of this." Tobias said, handing me leaves that were obviously mint.

"You're too kind sir." I said, turning his smile into a slight frown.

"Just Tobias. No sir. Let loose for once. Jump off this train with me, and you never have to see me again."

But I wanted to see him again. I wanted to be with him all the time. And the funniest feeling of all, even though I had known him for 10 minutes now, is that I wanted his lips on mine. It's funny how I fell in love so quickly. With his voice, his looks, his bravery, and something I don't know yet.

A town slowly came into the distance. A small one indeed, but breathtaking. Gani was a small town slightly North of Richmond, Virginia. Tobias got up, obviously ready to jump. So I heaved myself up, and waited near the opening of the car.

"We might have to stay here for the night. I know some friends here." Tobias said. Peter would be looking for me soon, probably so he could abuse me. So I didn't mind.

We jumped into a pile of snow, and started laughing. My cheeks turned red, and Tobias brushed the snow from my face. We started the short yet tiring trek to Gani. I kept questioning him, wanting to know more, and he would return the favor.

"Where did you grow up?" I asked.

"If you are talking a list of places, be ready for a long one. Until I was 2, my father and I lived in Albany. Then when I was 3, we lived in Disjlov, Russia. We lived in Yorktown for a while, that is how I know my friends. The list goes on, but I only lived in those places for a couple months. When I was 17 I ran away. That is how I am here now."

  "How old are you?"

"18. Tell me about your life."

"Up until I was 16, I lived in Yankee, Wisconsin. Other than that, I live in the White House."

There wasn't another word spoken until we got to town. A home-grown and cozy little town. Tobias seemed to know everybody.

We walked through the town, cherishing the view of the small candy shop, and local vendors selling soaps and whatnot. Until we came to a halt in front of two boys, who would have endless laughs and some dimension to my life.
