The New Girl (AU)

Sleep over

(Friday after school)

As Percy and I drove to Thalia and Jason's house we just listened to music till I decided to break the silence. "So do you go to Thalia's often? Because your cousins and all?" I asked. Percy smiled a little.

"At one point in my life I practically lived there." He said. I thought I saw a flash of pain in his eyes all though I don't know why. Just then we entered a gate and Percy put a code in. We kept driving and soon rolled up to a huge house... wait a better word would be mansion. I couldn't help but gah at the architecture. It was beautiful with Greek pillars in the front and a large fountain in the around a- bout in the front too. "Close your mouth or your going to catch fly's Wise Girl!" Percy said Laughing at me. We hopped out of the car and grabbed our bags. Thalia came running out side.

"Well it's about time Kelp Head and Annie!" She yelled.

"Don't call me Annie!" I snapped. Thalia just rolled her eyes.

"Why are you late" she said glaring at Percy like it was his fault.

"It's not his fault." I said. "I left my bag at home."

"Yeah don't always assume it's my fault!" Percy said before heading inside to go find the other guy's.

We all wanted to go swimming even though Jason, Nico and Percy all just had a meet. Jason and Nico kept protesting that they were tired so we decided to watch a movie instead witch Percy was bummed about. I just don't get how he could go swimming again right after the meet.

I had to share a love seat couch with Percy while Jason sat with Piper and Thalia sat with Nico while Grover got the bean bag. We voted to watch a scary movie witch I voted against. I Hate scary movies a lot.
      I woke up when the movie ended. I noticed my body position. I was curled up in a ball snuggled up close to Percy who was sound asleep thankfully. My head was on his strong chest and I could hear his sturdy heart beat. His arm was around me. I blushed a deep red. I could see a little bit of drool in the corner of his mouth. His long black eyelashesy were closed and he had a pice of hair in his eyes. I wanted to run my hand through his hair but it took everything in me not to. His soft pink lips where slightly ajar and the temptation to just kiss them was to strong. If I starred at them any longer not being able to kiss them I would die.
      The rest of our friends were also asleep. Jason and Piper where snuggling in a blanket and Nico and Thalia where to. Grover was spread out on the bing bag with his baseball cap on his face.  I got up and went into the kitchen and got myself a cup of water. 5 minutes later Percy walked in groggily and with bed head. (witch made hime look even more adorably hot)
     "How long have you been up?" He asked rubbing his eyes.
     "Uhh for about 5 minutes. What do you want to do?" I asked. His eyes lite up once he saw it was dark out. 
     "Fallow me!" He said heading for the back door. He was heading to the massive garden. We entered and he started going through it like he's done it millions of times. Witch he probably has. We entered a gate that I didn't notice was there and stopped in front of a giant tree.
     "Uhh Perce why did you lead me to a tree?" I asked.
     "You'll see." Said Percy scanning the sky with a grin on his face. Just then he whistled and held out his arm. I was starting to think he was crazy but then out of nowhere a huge owl came swooping down and landing on his arm.  This nearly scared me half to death! "Annabeth meet Zöe Nightshade!" He said smiling. I was to stunned to speak.
      "What...how....that?" I managed to speak out. Percy just laughed at me.
     "Hold your arm out." I did and right away she came and landed on my arm. The owl was beautiful! This was so cool!
    "How did you know that owls where my favorite animal?" I asked as Zöe flew off.
    "I'm not always oblivious to thing." Percy said pointing to my necklace and earrings. They were both owls my mom gave me before she passed away.
     "When I was little, I was over here playing with Thalia and Jason. I came running through the gate to get away from Thalia who was it. I was behind a tree and all the sudden a baby owl fell out. It looked hurt so Thalia, Jason and I all took the owl inside to care for it. Well Jason and Thalia weren't aloud to have pets inside so we had to hide it in Thalia's closet because no one dares to go in there. Not even the maids. Long story short we named the owl Zöe Nightshade and when she got better we brought her back outside. Thalia's parents did find out and they were not happy. My mom grounded me for a month. No going outside the house except for when I was with her. It sucked!" Percy said laughing at the memory. I starred at him in shock. Here I was standing here with a extremely hot guy who was nice, loyal, athletic (sometimes stupid) guy, and on top of all that he was a owl savor! How was he still single? "We should probably get back before Thalia bites our heads of for being gone. Percy said grabbing my hand and leading me back to the house. His hand fit perfectly with mine. But I was all to bummed when he let go.
       "That was so cool Percy! Thanks for showing me." I said looking into his sea green eyes.
      "Anytime Wise Girl!" Percy said smiling. "Your the only one out of all our friends that knows besides Thals and Jason and our parents." I was touched. This made it all the more special.
     As we walked inside everyone was at the kitchen table talking. When they saw use they froze and looked at us. Thalia was smirking at us. "Care to tell me where you were?"
   "None of your business Pinecone face. I just showed Wise Girl the statue of your family in the garden that has your step mom's head off from the time Jason kicked the soccer ball and hit it." Percy said. Lucky Percy was a good lier so she believed us.
    "Let's play truth or dare!" Piper suggested. We all agreed and got in a circle in the lounge room.
    "I'll go first!" Piper said. "Truth or dare Grover?"
    "Truth!" Grover said. Piper grinned.
    "Who do you like?" Grover looked a little red.
    "Juniper." He said quietly. "Percy truth or dare?" Grover asked.
    "Dare." Percy said without hesitating. Grover thought for a minute.
    "I dare you to run into the pool with all your clothes on." Grover said evilly.
   "To Easy G-Man!" Percy said dashing off to the huge pool.  We all fallowed him just in time to see him run off the diving board and doing a backflip while hollering. When he resurfaced Nico yelled show off before we all broke down laughing. Percy got out and went to change into dry cloths.
      "Truth or dare Jason?" Said Percy when he got back.
      "Dare!" Jason said trying to look casual but failed miserably.
     "I dare you to kiss Piper for at least 7 seconds." He said smiling.
     "I'll get you back Jackson!" Jason said blushing before leaning in and kissing Piper. The kiss lasted way longer then 7 seconds and when they pulled apart they where both breathing heavily. We all laughed. The game went on like this for a few more rounds till it was Jason's turn again. He looked like Christmas had come early.
      "Perce truth or dare?" He said smiling wide.
      "Dare!" Percy said without thinking.
       " I dare you to sing your little friend Annie a song!" Jason said grinning ear to ear. Percy turned as white as a ghost.
    We all laughed before going to their mini stage that had a karaoke set. We had to drag Percy in there so he could sing. Jason got to pick to song.
    Percy was standing front and center when the song came on. I recognized it as Break up in a Small Town by Sam Hunt. I loved this song.
     Percy was a awesome singer. It blew everyone away. When he finished he bolted of stage.
