Split into two

(Wednesday morning)

      I woke up to my phone buzzing. I lazily rolled over to check the time. Shot I slept iewon n. I looked at the text and noticed that it was from Percy.

        Hey Wise Girl good morning! Need a ride to school?  I smiled at how sweet he was.

        Sure thanks Seaweed Brain! I replied while heading downstairs to fix myself a bowl of cereal.

      As I hopped into Percy's car I realized that it was just him. "Did Thalia finally drive her lazy ass to school?"I asked getting in the passenger car. He laughed.

     "No she's home sick. Said she had the flu." He said shrugging. I made a mental note to text her latter and say to get better. "Jason and Nico had to go to school early too." Percy said.

      "So have you changed your mind in telling me where you plan to take me on our date?" I asked giving him my puppy dog face.

     "No matter how cute your puppy dog face is I won't give in and tell you." Percy said focusing on the road. I curled my lip even more. "Don't do this to me Wise Girl... it must be a surprise." Percy said avoiding eye contact. I sighed giving up hope. "Guess what! The doctor said that my leg is healing faster then expected to, so I get to take my cast off sooner." Percy said excitedly. I was happy for him. He's made it clear to everyone that he hates his boot and will do anything to be able to get rid of it.

       "Thats great! When will you be able to take it off?" I asked as we pulled into school.

       "In a week, But I still can't do swim practices or meets which is a huge bummer. But I'm just happy to get the boot off." He said.  As he hopped out of the car he came to open the door for me. Such a Seaweed Brian.

      "You know I'm capable of opening the door myself." I said. He just rolled his eyes.

      "I know that Wise Girl, I'm not stupid." He said as we walked into the school. I secretly loved it when he would open the door for me. He was such a gentlemen, no doubt Sally taught him how to treat women.

       As I was at my locker I heard sobbing. I turned around to see Drew there crying at her locker with four of her 'friends' conforming her. I was curious as to why she was crying so I decided to eavesdrop a little.

      "I was making out with Brad behind the gym like we do every morning when he told me all of the sudden that we "Couldn't do this anymore because he like someone else".... More sobbing..... and you'll never guess who he likes! That girl Annabitch!" There was more crying then Drew started to talk again. "I swear I'll get that bitch for stealing Brad from me." She said before strutting of down the hall with her posey behind her. I stuttered a little. Maybe it would be best to avoid Drew for a little.

      All was going good so far avoiding Drew till lunch. I was sitting with my friends talking to Piper about Percy and my upcoming date (which she was very happy about) when Drew and her posey came up behind me. They were carrying their lunches which was spaghetti pasta when Drew 'tripped' and spilt all her lunch over my shirt. I was to stunned to speak. She completely ruined my favorite shirt. Tears were threading to fall. The whole table stopped talking and looked at Drew. It was Percy who spoke first. "What the hell Drew! You just spilt pasta all over Annabeth!" He yelled standing up towering over Drew looking pretty pissed.

     "It was an accident! I'm so sorry Annabelle."She said in a fake sweet voice.

      "Bullshit. You're just mad because Brad broke up with you because he like Annabeth." Percy yelled. How he knew about that I don't know. I didn't hear the rest of the things he said because aI got up and rushed to the bathroom. Once I got there I sat in a stall and cried. Piper and Hazel came rushing in a few minutes latter carrying a sweatshirt.
