The New Girl (AU)

Crashing Waves

        "So what do you guys want to do now?" Thalia asked.

        "Let's go to the beach!" Percy yeled. We all rolled our eyes at his kid behavior but we all agreed.

          "Once we got to Thalia and Jason's beach, we set up a volleyball net. The teams were girls against boy's. Grover was the judge because he was injured. The loser had to run in the ocean and then come out and roll in the sand and carry all the towels  and shoes up to the house.

             "It was a good game but we won. Percy sprinted off into the ocean first. Jason was trying to catch Nico and drag him into the water. Nico was complaining about it being gross and full of animal pee unlike the pool. Soon Percy joined Jason in trying to catch Nico. They finally got him. Jason grabbed Nico's feet and Percy got his arms and the started carrying him to the ocean. Once they got there they threw him in then started running as fast as they could the opposite direction. Nico got out and started chasing them while yelling a string of curse words at them. Soon they were all rolling around on the sand wrestling. All you could see were arms and legs in a sand cloud. Then it all stopped. They all stood up and walked over to us smiling wickedly. Suddenly Piper and Thalia were scooped up by Nico and Jason and carried to the ocean. Before I could register all this I felt strong arms pick me up and carry me to. My eye's widened. "PERCY PUT ME DOWN!" I screamed.

             "Wise Girl you're going to blow my eardrum out!" Percy said laughing. 

             "Percy I'm scared of the ocean please put me down!" I said shaking. Percy stopped right at the edge of the water and put me down and looked at me with wide eyes.

            "How are you scared of the ocean Wise Girl? I thought before this you lived in San Francisco. Didn't you always go in the water?" Percy said scrunching his eyebrows up. Witch made him look even cuter. I looked down at my feet.

           "I've never been in it." I said. My parents never let me go in unless I was in a boat." Percy looked like I just killed his fish.

             "Well we must change that right away!" He said with a sparkle in his eyes. "Come on!" he said grabbing my hand. I hesitated before following him. The water was cold and it seemed to pull me into deeper waters. Soon I was up to my stomach. "There you go Wise Girl!" Percy said. Then I saw it. A massive wave coming. I was right at my stomach in the water  and there was no way of running  back to shore. I screamed then pounced on to Percy clinging on to him for dear life. I must have caught him be surprise because he fell. He came back up the the surface of the water coughing up water. "Warn me before you do that next time Wise Girl!" He said laughing.

            "I'm so sorry Percy! I didn't mean to make you almost drowned! I saw a huge wave and I jumped on you without thinking. Sorry." He laughed.

           "It's okay Wise Girl, I don't mind being your life savor." Percy said winking at me. Wait was he flirting with me? I'm so confused. I looked over at our friends and saw that Nico and Thalia were having a water fight and Jason was getting buried in sand by grover and Piper." 10 bucks that Jason and Piper end up together by the end of this week." Percy said smiling at his little cousin. "He's liked her since 5th grade." My eyes got big.

            "Really! Piper likes him to but thinks he doesn't like her." I said laughing." Wait you've them since 5th grade!"

         "Yeah we all went to the same school. Except for Frank who we meet in 8th grade."

          "Cool!" Was all I could think of saying.

            "When we went back into the house we all took turns showering in different rooms. The girls showered in Thalia's room and the boy's showered in Jason's. Once we were all done we decided to go out and eat. We ate at this restraint called Pandoras a pizza place. (Real restaurant)Then we decided to go to the ice cream shop. When we walked in we only saw a girl behind the counter with red frizzy hair, freckles and green eyes. She had paint all over her cloths. There was no denying that she was pretty.
