After a brief conversation between Carrie and Violet, the drummer ended up leaving. Colby didn't know what they had talked about, as they had spoken softly and not near him. If he had to guess, though, it was probably about him.
He knew that if Violet was angry, she probably would've slammed the door shut behind her, but she didn't.
Carrie and Colby had been talking since she left. Mostly, he had been updating her on his injury. She was eager to see him in the ring again, and she needed to know when that would happen.
"Okay, now it's your turn," He told her, once he finished with his story. "First of all, when did you do that to your hair?"
She smiled, bringing a hand to her short hair. "A little over two months. I got the blue streak about a week before we filmed the music video for Bombshell."
When she moved her arm, his eyes landed on the tattoo on her wrist. "What about the tattoo?"
She showed him her wrist, and he laughed when he saw it simply said, "FUCK."
"It was going to say fuck you," She explained. "But both Violet and Jessica thought it would be better as just fuck. It can mean whatever I want it to. Fuck you, fuck it, fuck me."
"I don't know how much longer I'd have a job if I got fuck tattooed on my wrist," He said, and she laughed. "I saw it in the music video during Takeover, and I didn't remember you having it last time I saw you."
"So many people saw the music video tonight," She said, her eyes widening. "I just realized that."
"You're going to have a lot more people at your concerts that are there for Toxic Valentine," He said.
"I was freaking out when we got the call, asking if they could use our song," She told him, a grin taking over her face. "I was freaking out about it; no one else cared all that much."
He smiled. "Yeah, but someone needs to care."
"When we found out, I wanted to call you, but we weren't talking," She said, her grin wavering. "And I couldn't tweet about it because they hadn't announced it yet. I just had to keep it to myself."
"You could just get the rest of the band into wrestling," He suggested.
"Trust me, I've tried," She said, laughing. "For one reason or another, none of them are all that into it. When Kevin started dating Saraya, Jessica figured that maybe she should watch it, to see what it is that she does. She wasn't on the episode we watched, so she just stopped watching."
"They wouldn't even watch Takeover?" He asked. "Your song was playing tonight!"
Carrie shrugged. "It wasn't worth it. I watched it, though, while Violet was out. I like to think they picked Bombshell specifically for Asuka and Bayley. Have you seen Asuka? Holy shit, she's awesome."
He chuckled. "I was there."
"Oh, yeah."
"Asuka is pretty cool, though," He answered her question.
"And Shinsuke Nakamura?" She continued. "Oh my god, why haven't I been watching Japanese wrestling?"
"You haven't gotten to talk to anyone about Takeover, have you?" He asked.
"No." She shook her head. "Violet is the only one here, and she's been in and out all night."
"Well," He said, deciding that someone needed to talk to her about it. "If you thought his match with Sami Zayn was good, wait until he faces someone else on that roster. There are so many dream matches waiting to happen."
