Chapter 16

I wake up breathing heavily. Maybe I had a bad dream.

"Glad your awake" a girl with brown hair yawns and stirs a cup of tea. I look at her.

"Maria? What are you doing here?" I jump up and she looks at me smiling.

"We saw you two sneaking out and thought we should follow, I don't wanna stay inside those walls for so long." She starts to sharpen her knife.

I look around and find Ellie eating a candy bar. She smiles at me and looks at Carl and blushes.

"Hey Carl wake up" I shake him he bolts up and rubs his eyes. We laugh and he looks around.

"What's up?" He looks at me with his hair all up and poofed. I liked being with people. I just hope they don't turn their back on me.

The morning was us walking around doing nothing me and Maria walk ahead Carl and Ellie. We talk casually while Carl and Ellie talk up a storm. I start to laugh at the conversation.

"Wow, you really got shot on your stomach. Did it hurt or was it a faint little pain, or did you not feel anything at all. Oh god I'm talking to much sorry." He covers her mouth and laughs.

"Hey love birds hurry up we are close to the city, when we get there let's head to the mall. But have your guard up and please, don't be stupid" Maria says and jumps over cars and trash cans. We all follow behind and get pass walkers.

We finally arrive at the mall. We didn't expect much but as we looked inside we saw a whole mall filled with walkers. We snook into an alley way and killed a walker close enough. We put its blood on us and walked passed the zombies. Carl holding mine and Ellie's hand and me holding Maria's. we get into a jcpenny safely and close the gates quietly

"Okay so check for walkers take them out very stithy like and let's get new clothes" everyone splits up and tip toes except for Carla and Ellie. I kinda brush it off even though I did feel very sad I don't know why I felt sad I mean I thought he was cute but not that cute.

I grab some black sneakers and a new navy lime green shirt. I put them on then I spot something on the corner of my eye and it was the prettiest decorated skinny jean. I grabbed it and changed into them. I was so happy.

"Woah you look great Clem" a voice behind me said. I turn around and see Ellie.

"Aww thanks, you do to" we get ponchos and slap walker guts all over and head out we got first aid kits and hid them in our back packs.

We head out and start walk back to the abandoned neighborhood. *bam* we hear a shot echo followed by a scream coming from Ellie.

She falls to the ground crying, Maria picks her up and runs we follow behind and dodge bullets shooting at us. We head into a alley way.

"Ellie are you okay?" Carl kneels down and holds her hand.

"My leg!" she cries in pain he looks at the bullet wound in her pants and picks her up with a serious face.

"Let's get her back to Alexandria" he carries her and we follow behind. I walk with my head down and sigh here and there.

"Well if he likes someone I guess I should give him space" I whisper. Maria looks at me with my head hung low and looks at Carl she pats my back gently as we walk our way to Alexandria.

We change direction for the hilltop since we had no doctors. And as we get there Carl sits next to the "hospital" waiting for her. I cross my arms and walk to Enid.

"I should've told him the time I knew I liked him" I tell her. She looks at me and frowns.

"Don't worry clem there is more boys out there" she hugs me. I sit down next to Glenn and Abrahams burial. And start crying at Abrahams.

"Thanks for going with Kenny, he thought you were cool, If you see him right now te-t-tell him I miss him" I start choking on tears

"Hey there" a voice calls out from behind me.

I have been so lazy that I haven't posted. Please bug me for a next chapter so I won't forget. Like please I suck at being constant when it comes to chapters. Anyways hope you liked.
