It's my birthday today. Yehey :(
Pumunta kaagad ako sa cr para mag-ayos. Tinignan ko muna ang sarili ko sa salamin.
"Happy birthday, self. You're gonna celebrate your birthday again incomplete. You're seventeen now. Hope that being seventeen doesn't sucks. Happy birthday again, Audrey Justine."
Hay. Inayos ko naman na ang sarili ko at bumaba na. Late na rin akong gumising. It's almost noon I think. Bumaba na ako and to my surprise...
"Happy birthday, Aj!"
Dad, Kuya Andrew, Kuya Paolo, Kuya Jose and Ate Ruby greeted me.
"Aww. Thank you guys."
Then I hugged them and I kissed Kuya and Daddy.
"Tara na kain na tayo!" - Ruby
So ayun dumiretso na silang lahat sa garden habang ako naman naiwan dito sa sala. Sana kumpleto kami ngayon.
"Bakit ka naman malungkot jan? Hindi ka ba masaya sa ginawa namin?" - Aga
"Masaya naman po kaso..."
"Wala si Lea."
Then I nod.
"Don't be sad. Mamaya makakausap mo yun. Tara na dun sa garden may surpresa pa kami sa iyo."
Hinila naman ako ni Daddy papunta sa garden and to my surprise....
"Hindi naman pwede na wala ako sa birthday ng baby ko di ba?"
Is that...?
"Mom? Mommy!"
Oh my gosh!! I can't believe it!! Tumakbo ako kaagad kay mommy at niyakap siya ng mahigpit.
"Happy birthday, sweetie." - Lea
"I thought that.... One week po kayo sa Sydney?" - Aj
"Sus, nagpaniwala ka naman dun. Three days lang ako." - Lea
"Thank you, Mommy! Thank you so much." - Aj
Then the celebration starts!
"Ruby, ikaw, anong wish mo kay Aj?" - Aga
"Aj, happy birthday! Sana hindi ka magbago. Sana manatili kang mabait katulad ng mga magulang mo. Lagi mong tatandaan na nandito lang kami ni Jose, Paolo, at ako para sa iyo. Kahit makulit ka minsan, nandito pa rin kami sa iyo. Mahal na mahal ka namin." - Ruby
"Aww. Thank you ate!!" - Aj
I went to Ate Ruby and hugged her.
"Uy, Paolo! Ikaw naman." - Ruby
"Ayun, happy birthday, Aj!! Lagi mong tatandaan na nandito lang ako para sa iyo. Kapag kailangan mo ng makakasama kapag pupunta ka ng mall o kaya kasama kapag pupunta sa coffee shop, you know, I'm just one call away. Hehehe, happy birthday, Aj!! Love you!" - Paolo
"Thank you, Kuya Pao!!" - Aj
"Jose, ikaw naman!" - Paolo
"Happy birthday, Aj! Sana hindi ka magbago. Sana ganyan ka pa rin kahit 17 ka na. Nandito lang kami para sa iyo. Isang tawag mo lang, nandyan kami kaagad. Mahal na mahal ka namin!" - Jose
"Thank you, Kuya Jose!!" - Aj
"I guess, it's my turn now. Happy birthday to my french fries and pizza buddy and to my number one rival when it comes to UNO. Always remember that Kuya's always here for you no matter what. Stay humble and stay kind. I always got your back, dude. God bless. I love you so much, baby sister!" - Andrew
"Thank you, Kuys!!" - Aj
I hugged him.
"Ako naman ngayon. Happy birthday, Aj! Magpapasalamat ako sa iyo kasi sa kabila ng nangyari sa atin, tinanggap mo pa rin ako bilang tatay mo. Hinayaan mo ako na bumawi sa iyo sa mga panahong wala ako sa tabi mo. Nandito lang ako sa tabi mo. Hinding-hindi na kita iiwan ulit. Mahal na mahal kita, Aj." - Aga
"Thank you, Daddy!" - Aj
I hugged him so tight.
"Alam ko may galit ka pa sa akin eh hahahaha. Happy birthday, sweetie. Ang laki ng pasasalamat ko sa Diyos dahil binigyan niya pa ako ng isang anak na napakabait at masunurin. Ikaw yung pantanggal ng stress ko at alam mo yan. You and Drew are my happy pill. You've been my inspiration since day one. Kayo ni Drew ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit hindi ako sumusuko. Lagi kang nandyan para sa akin. Always remember that I'll always be here for you through thick and thin, through ups and downs. I will always support you. I and will always love you forever. I love you very much, bunso." - Lea
She cried. No I hate it when I see her cry. I just hugged her and kissed her.
I'm here at my room inayos ko lang yung regalong binigay sa akin nina Daddy and Kuya Andrew. Kuya Andrew gave me Yeezy while Daddy gave me an iPad Pro.
*knock knock
"Pasok po!"
"Hi!" - Lea
"Mom, bakit po? May kailangan po ba kayo?"
"Wala naman."
She sat beside me.
"Happy birthday, Aj. Pambawi ko yan sa iyo."
She handed me a gift bag then I opened it. OH MY GOSH!!!! NEW MACBOOK PRO!!!
"OH MY GOSH MOMMY!!! I LOVE YOU PO!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!"
I hugged her so tight and kissed her on her hair.
"I love you too, honey. Sige na matulog ka na anong oras na."
"Opo, mom. Thank you so much po. I love you to the moon and back."
Then she kissed me on my temple and went to her room. This is the best birthday gift evah! I prayed this thing to happen for how many years and now, God answered me. Everything was worth the wait. The best birthday gift for me was not the yeezy, iPad, or even the Macbook Pro. The best birthday gift for me was my family because we are complete. And I hope that we'll stay together forever.
