The Seepover

Liza's POV 

When I go to turn around I see Mrs. Singh in shock. She tells me to go step out of the classroom and calm myself down. So I did what I was told, then came back in like nothing happened. And after class and after school nobody came to ask what happened they just ignored it, so I must brush it off. When I get to my locker I rush to Connor to go and say good-bye to him and when I get there everyone one was there.We all went outside to say good-bye to Connor for the last time, then he went off. I cried into David's shoulder until Gabbie pulled me away. She got us an Uber  to my house to go pick up my stuff for her house. And on the way to her house she explained that her mom wanted to go back to the company in Texas because she worked so hard to get to where she was at. She moved to L.A. to go on a business trip, but it ended earlier then what she expected. She told me that she had to go back. She had no choice. Her mom told her that she loved her with all her heart and wish it could change. She promised that she would come back and visit as soon as possible. When she finished the story she was practically in tears.

We arrived at my house and we told the Uber thanks and he drove off. I get the key to my house and open the doors to find no one there but my dog. I set down my backpack and walk around. Gabbie comes in a few minutes later and says, " Hey where are your parents? Shouldn't they be here by now? " " Yeah I don't know where there they are" I say. I look around the room and I see a piece of paper on the counter. " Gabbie come here look what I found " I say. She comes towards me and I start reading the note.

"Our dear daughter Liza,

We are so sorry but we cant't make Saturday. We have been called to NYC for a work trip.  We tried to tell them that this Saturday will not work, but they said it's either this Saturday or we don't get payed for that month. So we had to do this but we can do next Saturday. We are really sorry honey. We love you so much and wish we could be with you."

By the time that I was done reading it I was in fully fledged tears. "Liza why you crying?" I hand her the note, and when she was done reading it she immediately pulled me into a hug and held me for like 5 min. and she took my hand and took me to my room and sat me down. I layed down until I calmed down then I started to pack.

Gabbie's POV

I wrap my arms Liza to comfort her. I figured since her parents wont be back and that she has been planning this for months the most I could do is try to comfort her. So I do what I do best. I hug her. After about 5 min. I let go, take her hand, and bring her up stairs into her room. She lays down on her bed and trying to calm her self down but after 5 min. Her tears start to dry and she starts to pack her things for the night. I ask to help but she says that she can do it, so I look around the room and look at her dresser and I see a Polaroid picture of me, Carly, Erin, and Liza."You kept this?" I ask her. " Yeah. It was one of the best days ever." She says smiling. " I remember like it was yesterday."

I walk in with Liza clinging to my side like a little kid with there mom at a mall. We go to the front desk and get our schedules, and we don't know where are first class is. So we go up to these two girls. One has brown wave hair and looks like she could be a crack dealer. The other one has pink hair and looks a lot like me. We go up to them and ask them where class 2A is and they show us and they are in the same class as us and we become friends and make plans that weekend. We had so much fun with them we hung-out like all the time.

"And the rest is history." I say smiling. " Then we all meet David and I started hanging out with him more and things lead to other things and here we are now." 

She finished packing and we leave. She gets her keys and we bring her dog with us out to her car to live with us cause its a little piece of home that she can take with her.

A/N

Hi guys its been like a month or so and I am so sorry that I haven't been posting much. I have been busy with basketball ( not mine my dads a coach and my sister plays for like two teams ), homework, and being sick. But good news the seasons are over and spring break is coming up soon so I will have more time to write then. So until the next chapter I hope you still stick with me.
