When they glittered onto the Everglen grounds, Sophie and Keefe were the first ones there. They started walking toward the gate, and Alden let them in.

"Sophie, Keefe, what a pleasant surprise!" Alden said, huddling them into a hug.

"It's great to see you again" Sophie said, wishing she had come over sooner.

"Yeah, it really is" Keefe added. Sophie could see the redness of his eyes, and the way he tried to hide the fact that tears had almost escaped. When Alden let go, Keefe had his composure back, and his smirk was still on his face.

"The others aren't here yet, I'm not sure what's taking them so long" Sophie said. Hadn't they all leaped at the same time? She was starting to wonder if something happened.

"They're probably getting Dex's things" Alden said. "No reason to worry" he added. Whenever he said that, there was always something to worry about. But this time she felt that she could actually believe it. A few minutes later, Biana glittered onto the pasture.

"Fitz and Dex are just picking something up from Atlantis, but I'm not sure what, they didn't really elaborate" Biana said. Sophie wasn't sure how this would end, or what they were picking up, but the idea of it scared her slightly. It would probably end with someone being embarrassed or admitting a secret they didn't want to admit. That's how most of their sleepovers ended. And with this one, Sophie and Keefe had a really big secret that no one could know. She was determined to keep it.

"Come on kids, let's go inside" Alden said, and he led them to the golden gates as they swung open with one swift, smooth movement. They walked in, making a beeline for the kitchen so they could get mallowmelt and custard bursts. After they had their snacks, they went into the living room, and set up their sleeping bags. Sophie's overnight bag was already there, thanks to Edaline, and she decided to change immediately. The dragon costume was becoming suffocating, and she wanted her comfy pajamas on as soon as possible. Sophie and Biana went up to Biana's room, and Keefe went into Fitz's room.

"So, any plans to play truth or dare tonight?" Biana asked. Sophie's cheeks stubbornly turned red out of habit.

"I don't think so. We play it all the time, it's getting boring" Sophie said. She changed quickly, while Biana went into the bathroom to redo her makeup for more of a 'night look'. While she did that, Sophie left the room and went back down to the living room. In there, she found Keefe.

Keefe immediately took her by the waist and kissed her, then let go and returned to his spot.

"I just wanted to do that before everyone else came in" Keefe said. Sophie smiled at him, rolling her eyes at his adorableness. "Dex and Fitz haven't shown up yet" he added.

"I'll hail them" Sophie said, as she took her imparter out of the wrist pocket of her red fleece pajamas.

"Fitz Vacker" Sophie said into the silver square imparter. It stayed blank for a few seconds, then Dex's face popped up.

"Hey Sophie, we'll be there in a minute, Fitz is just checking out" Dex said.

"What did you guys buy?" Sophie asked.

"Just a little something to play tonight. I gotta go now, we're leaping in a minute"

"Okay, just please don't buy anything dange-"

"Bye" He said. He waved with a cute little smile, and then ended the call.

"That little bugger hung up on me" Sophie said.

"Bugger?" Keefe asked, confused.

"It's British slang, it's a better alternative for a not-so-nice-word" Sophie said, and realisation spread over Keefe's face.
