You awoke to the constant beating ray's of the everlasting sun. You yawned tiredly stretching your sore muscles before getting up and basking in the heat of the sun. You sighed in bliss closing your eye's before opening them once more at the sound of your groaning stomach.

You patted your exposed stomach calmly before you started looking around at the tree's "time for breakfast" you whispered before your eye's landed on a couple of ripe coconuts in a coconut tree above. You quickly moved for your catch jumping onto the sturdy trunk of the opposite tree with ease before climbing being careful not to put to much pressure on one area.

Once you were close enough you were able to reach behind your back and unsheathe the dagger of Kane, god of the tree's and forests. You quickly held it with your one hand and jumped from one tree to the next while slicing through the branch that held about six fresh coconuts.

You hit the ground landing on your feet before sheathing your dagger and extending your right hand. You caught a ripe coconut in that hand before plopping down and not even blinking as the other's fell at your feet into you makeshift bed.

You smiled slightly before bowing and raising the coconut above your head closing your eye's "thank you, Lono. For your generous gift" You spoke to the god of agriculture above.

You then brought the fruit down and picking up a stone from your fire pit next to you, you began cracking open the coconut. After your meal, you got up discarding the pieces of your coconut shell and began looking for a steady stream on the island.

After maneuvering through the jungle's of the island you breathed a sigh of relief as you finally came upon a small river. you quickly began untying the knots of your outfit you had made on your last journey before jumping into the river which was surprisingly warm. You splashed around for a while rinsing out the dirt from your hair and cleaning the excess waste or dirt from your body.

You draw in a breath as you relax into the water. but, then you hear a rustle from the bushes behind you before, you hear the crunch of dried leaves under pressure. you turned quickly before glaring into the bushes reaching for your clothes to get your concealed dagger. that is until, your tense shoulder's sag and you sigh in relief as a coconut rolled into the clearing.

You took that as your cue to leave and you stepped out of the water and went to the fallen coconut. You were surprised to see you could open it with ease and the water was gone, your eye's widened quickly as you saw the holes in them big enough for two eye's.

"Dammit!" you cursed as you ran over and picked up your clothes sprinting out of the clearing quickly. You threw on your outfit on the way tripping on stray branches as you picked up fallen branches and twigs and even the mat of your bed.

You went to your knee's quickly as you tore apart the discarded piece's of coconut skin in order to form rope and using the piece's of your mat in order to fix the broken main sail of your canoe.

You raced towards the end of the beach with your supplies and turned your head slightly as you heard the murmurs and shouts of the tiny people in the bushes. You cursed before sliding to your knees next to your broken boat and immediately turning it over. You turned as you did your work as you heard a battle cry from behind you, you ducked as a small demon like coconut headed warrior jumped up towards your head.

You frowned as it snarled at you and you grabbed the Oar for your boat before swinging at it swiftly and knocking it yards off before, going back to my work. You continued faster tying together pieces of sticks and tying it to the side of the canoe. Then, you were a little surprised when something stuck you in the foot causing you to turn with a rope in your mouth.

The little vermin seemed to immediately regret his decision as it started quivering with its pointed stick in hand as you glared down at it "you little--" you started before picking him up by his coconut and throwing him towards his approaching buddies.

You continue before you smirked figuring out that you were finally done and you turned as you picked up your oar before boarding the canoe. the ocean began to carry it away slowly and definitely not fast enough. The Kakamora which were the annoying little vermin chasing the canoe, one was actually stupid enough to jump on the canoe with you.

you sneered at it as it stuck you in the leg "i'm really getting tired of you guys" you said before taking it by the head while it squirmed and you kicked a kakamora in the head before throwing it back o the cursed island.

kakamora shouted in annoyance and frustration realizing their kill got away before you huffed and turned away towards the vast ocean ahead.

You took the rudder stick and pulled it to the right causing the sail to shift and the wind did the rest as the canoe began to move faster. You looked into the water bringing your hand down as you did so my hand sweeping past a coral before feeling the cool water completely. You turned as you felt the water grow colder the farther you went from the land.

You then rose to your feet putting your hand to the mast as you looked to the sea. you felt the breeze run through your loose hair as you looked sadly  into the horizon "oh Maui..." you whispered as you leaned against the mast "i hope your ok" you whispered before sighing and returning to the rudder.
