CAMILA POV
The diner was nice, Mia stopped thinking about Matthew and she actually enjoyed her night. The waiter kept trying to flirt with her And she didn't even notice Mia never notices those kinds of things though. I dropped her off and she was a bit drunk but not to the point where she wouldn't remember anything that happened .
I pull up to my driveway and I notice my apartment light is on, I took out a can of pepper spray I had in my purse that my dad gave me when I last went to visit him and shook it getting it ready to use. I Twisted the door knob slowly and I see a shadow go across my room
"Who's there?!" I said screaming at the top of my lungs. almost too scared to move
"It's just me" said a familiar vice sounding a bit scared... It's Nathan
I ran towards him and gave him a huge hug "I missed you so much! You have no idea what I've been dealing with "
He hugged me Back . I felt so safe in his arms as usual "I missed you too"
"Why didn't you tell me you were getting back today?" I questioned
"I wanted to surprise you, I didn't know you were gonna be out tonight, I came home and you weren't here I was getting worried" he said sounding concerned
"Yeah I was out with Mia, I have so much to tell you" I said
"Did you have to wear that dress and look so pretty just to go out with Mia? Where did you go ?"
"Yeah, i did . we went out to a fancy restaurant. Matthew broke up with Mia and she was a wreck and I figured taking her out to diner would cheer her up"
"I'm sorry , I had no Idea it's just I can imagine all the guys staring at you I mean my girl is beautiful why wouldn't they ? "
I blushed and smiled
"Nate Mia needs us, we should all hang out like we used to. Specially now that Matt broke her heart....honestly I can't believe he broke up with her, I was convinced they would last forever"
"Yeah I agree, we need to be there for her like we always have been. Yeah he's an ass but it's better that he left if he wasn't feeling it anyone than lead her on and have her hurt" Nathan is right maybe it was for the best
