"Tord?" I asked.

I couldn't feel his warmth in the bed, meaning he was somewhere else. I hope he isn't doing anything bad.

I looked at the clock, 5:30 am.

I got out of bed, and threw on a hoodie. I took one more glance around the room, making sure I was right about Tord not being there.

"Hey." He yawns as I open my door. "Nightmare again?"

"No, actually slept pretty well for once. What about you?"

He stayed silent as he flipped the pancake. I sighed and sat down on the couch. I suppose he really did have a nightmare, obviously he doesn't want to tell me.

"You know it's better to talk about it, it'll ease the weight."

"I'm fine (Y/N), really." He sighed. "Your breakfast is done."

We had moved out of the house with Edd and the gang for at least a month now. We often see them, or talk to them still, but we figured we should move out.

"Seriously though Tord, it's obviously bugging you." I sighed as I sat at the kitchen table.

"I don't want to talk about it okay?" He said a little bit angry.

"Alright alright." I sighed, dropping the subject. "When did you get up?"

"Around 3, watched a movie and figured you'd be up soon." He said sitting down, handing me the plate of food.

"Where's your food?"

"I'm not hungry."

"Tord-"

"Please just leave it." He said quietly.

"I won't." I replied.

"Seriously-"

"IM NOT GOING TO LET YOU GO WHAT I DID OKAY?! TELL ME." I yelled, tears threatening to spill. "P-Please..."

"Y-You pushed me out of the way of a bullet. You ended up..." He stopped and looked down. "I should be the one protecting you, not the opposite."

"Tord-"

"I'm sorry." He said looking up at me, with his sad eyes. "I-"

"I can protect myself Tord, and so can you. There's just not a lot of situations that I need help in because I'm freaking awesome." I said jokingly, causing him to crack a smile. "I just want us to have a truthful relationship, even if it harms the other one..."

"I wouldn't lie to you." Tord said suddenly running up to me. "Never. Do you trust me...?"

"Of course I do!"

"You do?"

"Yes I do!"

"Great. Let's go then!"

"Wait wha-" I began but was quickly dragged out of the house.  "Tord I'm in my PJ pants!"

"Who cares?" He laughed. "Come on!"

"Tord I'm not even wearing shoes..." I said as he continued dragging me down the road.

"That doesn't matter where we're going!" He said quickening his pace, causing me to nearly fall. "Fine, I'll carry you then."

"Wha-" I began as he sprinted down the road.

We arrived at ASDF land, which wasn't even open. Tord whistled and somebody walked out. He had carried me to the Ferris wheel, sitting me down next to him. The man he had signaled before had turned it on, stopping us at the very top.

"Are you afraid of heights?" Tord asked concerned.

I gulped and nodded, tightening my grip on the handle bar. Tord placed his arm around me, calming me down instantly. I allowed myself to be pulled into his arm, snuggling against him.

"Look, the parks opening." He said quietly.

All of the lights went on slowly, people that looked like ants began to pile in, even though it was still dark out.

"Heya guys!" Someone said next to me.

I wiped my head to see the ghost of Jon. I yelled and hid into Tords hoodie, as he chuckled.

"Hey Jon." He said calmly.

"Are you alright (Y/N)?" He asked.

"She's not used to seeing ghosts."

"And you are?" I yelped.

"All the time princess, all the time."

"What is this the sixth sense?!" I yelled.

"S-Sorry to startle you..." Jon said. "It's just, nobody else can hear me ya know? And I-I really miss everyone..."

"I'm sure you do buddy." Tord sighed. "I'm sorry..."

"N-No it's alright." He said. "A-At least I'm not being hurt by Edwardo now!"

"Jon can't you ascend to the heavens or something?" I asked.

"N-Not until Tord accepts what happened. Until then, I can't leave." He sighed.

I looked up to see Tord with his head, readying on his hands on the handle bar, looking upon the park.

"I'm sorry Jon, I really am." He said quietly.

"Tord, he forgives you, I forgive you, even Tom forgives you for Christ sakes!" I yelled.

"I can't help it (Y/N)!" He snapped. "It's not as easy as you think to let it go!"

"Tord you nearly killed me, AND TOM. You wanna give me a lesson in getting over it?! I lost my whole fucking army and you think I don't blame myself?! God Tord, please. Please just forgive yourself." I yelled. "You don't even have to be over it, just realize your mistake and forgive yourself like the rest of us have!"

"You cursed." He said.

"That's all you got out of that?!" I yelled. "Jon-"

"He's gone." Tord smiled.

I looked at him blankly.

"I brought you here so I could get some air, and calm down. You with me always helps, so I figured why not? Who knew it would do much more than that."

"I love you Tord." I said hugging him.

"You missed." He said kissing me.
