Hola. I haven't checked any errors but point it out if you see any. Two updates today one fore Christmas and the other for New year. Enjoy.
The women behind us cleared her throat, breaking our little reunion. I hesitantly backed away, leaving the warmth and stepped back outside. My brother frowned. I looked towards the women who looked beyond cross.
"Honey, who is she?" She spoke with clenched teeth. My brother chuckled , "Don't worry,"
"Ana, this is my wife Elizabeth," Now my mouth was hung open. My brother was married and I didn't even know it and I wasn't even invited. Damn, I have such a bad life. Missed my only brother's wedding.
"Eli, this is my sister Ana," He smiles, the women then smiles her whole features change. Relisation and desbelife mask her features.
"The one that was kidnapped?" She questions. My brother nods.
"Kidnapped?" I repeat. Now I'm confused.
"Yes, didn't that guy Zackary kidnap you," The women spoke, "After the death of your parents,"
"No," I said, "I ran away,"
Brother faced me with shock, "You ran away!?" Didn't he know that?
"Let her in," Elizabeth says, "She must be freezing,"
I'm taken aback by her offer, "Don't hesitate, if your his sister you are also mine," She grabs my arm and hoists me in.
Brother drags in my suit case, "Come sit,"
I walk into the living room, and sit on a coffee coloured sofa.
"So you were saying you ran away?" Elizabeth sat besides me, placing a comforting hand on my lap.
"Yes, after my parents death I ran away," I repeat. Brother drags in the suit case and huffs falling on the sofa. I chuckle at him.
"Where?" She asks.
"To some ally way, where I met a boss of a big company," I said, "He offered me work, in exchange to something,"
"What?" My brother spoke out loud, hardness laced his voice no doubt he was thinking off Zachary.
"Not that brother," I say, "He wasn't like Zack,"
I look down to the soft cream colour rug, so much lightness in this house. "He was nice, until I met with Uncle and Aunt, I decided it was time to run away from that place and meet you,"
"I hope you don't mind," I say to them, "I don't have anywhere to live-"
"Are you mad?" Elizabeth shouted, "What my wife is trying to say here is that how can you possibly think to live somewhere else when I am here?" My brother says.
Elizabeth nods in agreement, she places her hand behind my back. "I have heard a lot about you," She stares at brother, "and if everything about you is true, then I love you already,"
I smile as my heart melts, my brother has a good wife.
Brother gets up, "So its settled, you'll be living here," He walks in front of me.
"Come I want to show you something," he offers his hand, I take it lightly. I stand up as my brother curls his finger without mine. He looks at his wife and they seem to be having a silent conversation.
"I'll make you something to eat dear," She says before walking into the kitchen, "You must be starving,"
Brother leads me upstairs, my hand still tucked in his. I'm still shocked that I'm here. My brother has changed so much, it surreal.
He opens the door, and darkness envelopes the room, "Meet my son, Leo,"
The light in the corridor shines into the room, as a baby lies in the cot. A groan escapes the baby's mouth and I let out a breath. The room is a typical blue, a baby nursery.
"I'm an Aunt?" I ask, my brother lets go of my hand, and nods enthusiastically. "I have a nephew,"
"Yes he was born two weeks ago," My brother whispers, "Do you want to be Leo's godmother?" My brother asks, and at once my heart stops. I give a look that says 'seriously', my brother seems determined to hear the answer.
"Yes," I breath, as I pear over the innocent baby. I'm an Aunt and a Godmother.
Johnny Depp got a people choice award for the 'favourite movie icon' I wish I was the one who shouted out "I LOVE YOU". I really do love him, Go Depp!
