I had so much fun at that christmas function, that I guess I woke up slightly later than usual. I raked my fingers through the strands of my hair , turning to check my phone. When I seen that Zay was off the phone, I knew he was at practice. After checking the time , I had realized that practice was over by now. I stretched out my body , yawning due to how tired I was. As I made my way to the bathroom and got ready for the day, I became really hungry. After getting dressed and making my way downstairs I saw Evy and Kaiden home.  This was surprising, considering Kaiden's always busy at work, and Evy's not always around when he's home.

"Goodmorning y'all " I said making my way to Zoe who was crawling on the floor. She looked perfectly fine to me, to have been in a  hospital bed all night.

"Wassup fathead "Kaiden was smirking.

"I don't have a fat head, but you on the other hand do have one of a monkey's head." I said picking up Zoe  laughing at the joke I had made."Hey Zoey how you feeling? I heard you wasn't feeling good mamas" I said to her kissing all over her while she giggled.

"She's allergic to strawberries so please make sure she doesn't eat that and before you give her anything come to me first and tell me" Evy said, as she gave a slight look at Kaiden.

"Aww Zoey , you missing out", As I sat her on my lap , i picked up my phone to check my messages. Zavier still didn't text me, so I decided to be the first to text him. He was out of practice, so it made no sense to me on why he didn't reply yet.

"What you doing today Kia?" Kaiden asked as he grabbed the remote from the coffee table.

"Going out with some friends later, where to ? no idea yet." I was getting mad at the fact he still hasn't replied.

"That's funny , I don't recall you asking before making these plans?" This is what I mean , she always has to put herself in a conversation that isn't meant for her.  Evy's so negative. It was an A and B conversation, and now here we are, with her trying to C her way into it.

" I didn't think I had to Evy". I was already annoyed and here her ass go.

"Well you do Kiara, you stay under my roof. Whatever you do, you come to me. Just because I'm not your mother-" I cut her off real fast.

"Exactly you not , so don't try and act like it" I told her, getting even more frustrated.

"Like I fucking said, you stay in my mother fucking house Kiara!  You're not about to just do as you please any time you want. You're 17 for God sake, and as far as I'm concerned you're not grown until you out from under my roof! You come in and out all times of the night , and think its okay ? Well it's not and usually I keep my mouth shut thinking you'll learn your lessons but your bratty ass don't ! You're so unappreciative and that's your damn problem ! You're grounded that's it. I'm tired of this, For a week your ass staying in this damn house.  Oh and those keys, to that car I got you it's mine too, so don't forget to leave them on my dresser when you go back to your room.

"Aye , chill out Evy it's not that deep... ", Kaiden started on, he understood where I was coming from at least. Frankly , Evy was taking things too far, take my car? Stop me from hanging with friends ?

"Are you serious? Not that deep? It is that deep !"she said looking at him.

"Baby you taking it too far" he looked at her trying to stop her from making a dumb ass reason to ground me in the first place.
