Chapter 1 - His number
It all started in the 9th grade when me and my best friend Mia was walking down the hall to our locker. We weren't paying attention because we where reading a text that some boy sent her.
To: Mia
From: Jake
'Hey that skirt you had on yesterday, damn girl! You sure can pull it off!"
I guess who ever I ran into that day wasn't paying attention because we smacked right into each other falling to the floor. But some how he managed to catch me.
"Thanks" I say looking in to his gorgeous colored eyes!
"Anytime babe and sorry for running into you like that!"
I blushed my cheeks were getting really red!
"Katie, right?" he says in a deep voice.
"Yeah and your Sam" I say in a shy voice.
"I'm so sorry how bout I make it up to you and take you out to the movies then to dinner this weekend?"
"Oh you don't have to do that!"
"Please I insist!" He says in a desperate voice.
"Ok" I say really surprised.
"I will give you my number and you can text me tonight!"
"Ok" I say excitedly.
"Alright then, text you tonight!" He says anxious tone. We smile at one and other and look into each others eyes for a few seconds then walk off.
"Do you know how lucky you are Katie? He's like the hottest guy in 9th grade! And you get to go on a date with him!" Mia shouts.
"Yeah I know right!"
"Dude it's destiny! You both ran into each other unexpectedly! And I seen how y'all looked into each others eyes!" Mia says in a serious voice!
"Yeah maybe, this could be my chance to finally meet someone decent and sweet!" Later that night I text Sam.
To: Sam
From: Katie
'Hey this is Katie'
To:Katie
From: Sam
'Hey! I'm so glad you texted me! So how does tomorrow night sound at 4:00 I will pick you up?'
To:Sam
From: Katie
'Sounds good! Remember where I live from when we use to car pull in 1st grade to our basket practice?'
To:Katie
From: Sam
'Oh yeah lol! I can't believe you still remember that! But yes I will pick you up at 4:00! Where something cute! ;) I mean u always look cute but well you know?'
To:Sam
From:Katie
'Thanks! :) And ok I will!'
We texted for a long time and then I feel asleep.
