Chapter 3 - the kiss

I woke up in the morning to my phone buzzing. I look and see a message from Sam.

'Hey love! I'm taking you out to a party tonight! Xx' - Sam

I get butterflies and I can feel my cheeks turning pink.

'Ok! Sound funn! Xx' - Katie

I was so excited this was the second time going out with him! I thought after last night we would be done!

'See you at 8! Xx' - Sam

I go down stairs and get something to eat.

"How was your date with Sam?!" My mum asks curiously.

"Best date ever!" I tell her.

I continue eating my breakfast quietly not wanting to tell my mum bout going to the party because most likely there will be underage drinking and that would be a great story to tell my mum.......I got in trouble for drinking. I mean she let me drink before but it was here not somewhere else. I just hate lying to her.

"You awful quiet this smorning!" My mum says to me making me stop thinking bout what to tell her.

"Um I'm just hungry!" I lie even though I hate lying to her.

"I'm going out with Todd tonight and won't be back till morning, is that ok?" She asks me knowing I hate Todd! He acts like he's my dad and he thinks he knows what's best for my mum and me, but in reality he doesn't know shit! But sense she is going out I could go to the party.

"Sure I dont care!" I tell her.

"Do you have any plans for tonight so you don't have to be alone?" She asks me.

I guess I should tell her. Here goes nothing.

"Um well actually I do. Sam is taking me to a party if that's alright with you?" I ask her nervously.

"Now you know I let you do pretty much anything but there is probably going to be underage drinking and you don't need to be getting in trouble. But if you don't get in trouble I guess you can go."

"Thanks mum your the best!" I run up and give her a hug.

Later that day Mia comes over.

"Hey so are you coming to Jakes party?" She asks

"Well, um Sam asked me to come with him so yeah I guess I am going!"

"That's the seconded time in a row now! I told you he's a keeper!"

I blush and say yeah he is.

Later on after Mia leaves I look in my closet for what seems like hours before picking out an outfit. I picked out a new pair of skinny jeans with holes in them and a blue American eagle shirt. I hop in the shower and then get ready. I scrunch my hair and pin my bangs off to the side with a bobby pin. I put a little eyeliner and mascara on and put little hoop earrings in and black flat shoes on. I hear a knock on the door and I hurry and grab my phone and rush down stairs. And look in the window to see who it is. It's Sam! I open the door and let him in.

"Hey beautiful! You look good in them jeans!"

"Thanks!" I blush getting butterflies.

When we get in the car Sam introduces me to his mom.

"Hi I'm Carol. Nice to meet you!" She says.

"Hi I'm Katie, nice to meet you too!" I say in a very shy voice.

When we get the party we can hear the music blaring and there is a bunch of people here already.

"I will pick yins up at 12. Ok?" SAMs mum says.

"Ok"

When we get in the house Sam gets us Seagrams.

Of coarse alcohol! We sit and talk to friends for a while

"Wanna dance?" Sam asks me.

"Sure I love dancing!"

We dance for quite a while and I can't help but notice this preppy girl named Tabby that goes to out school keeps glaring at me, but I think nothing of it. After that I talk to Mia for a little then I got to the bathroom. When I come out Tabby is all over Sam. What the hell does he think she doing? I go to rush over and I hear Sam say leave me alone I'm here with someone and I don't like you so get lost! But of coarse she don't listen so I rush over and tell her a piece of my mind.

"What the hell are you doing? Sam is here with me not you so go hang on some other guy like you usually do you whore!"

She just rolls her eyes and mumbles bitch under her breath and walks away.

"Wow you really don't like people messing with your boy do ya?" Sam says making me get butterflies and blush like crazy.

"So your my boy now?!" I say in a flirty voice.

"Yeah if you want me to be yours!"

"Ok!" I say with rosy red cheeks.

"Wanna go outside and get some fresh air?" Sam asks me.

"Yeah!"

We walk out side to a little creek outback and lay in the grass looking up at stars. We talk bout when we where little we had the biggest crush on each other but were to afraid to ask each other out. After a while of talking to each other we slowly lean in for a kiss, our foreheads to touching.......

"Sam your moms waiting for you in the car!" Jake yells ruining the moment.

When we get in the car I lay my head on his shoulder and we hold hands. When we get to my house we walks me to my door step and again we slowly move into towards each other and nip each other lightly on the lips.

"Night beautiful!" Sam says

"Thanks! I had fun tonight!"

"Me too see you soon!" He lightly kisses me on the cheek.

I walk in side and slide down the wall. Butterflies all through out my body and red cheeks. I could not believe it. I go up stairs and change into night clothes and fall asleep happy as can be.
