Chapter 16 - Explaining Things

Sam pov

When I get to Katie's house it's already 10:30 and her mom is probably sleeping, so I climb up the little fence to her bedroom like I did before. I see her sitting on her bed playing with the ends of her hair. She looks sad. I hope I didn't mess things up between us. I tap on the window lightly to get her attention. She looks over and looks surprised. She walks over and opens the window.

"Sam what are you doing here?" She says quietly.

"I came to see you and explain things!"

"Is that a hickey on your neck?" She says furiously.

"Yes but like I said I need to explain!"

She helps me in the window and we sit down in her bed.

"Ok please don't get mad at me but just hear me out!" I ask politely.

"I'm all ears!"

"Ok so Tabby came over and we got into a little argument and she said if I don't do what she says she will make my life a living hell and yours even worse! And I couldn't let that happen because I love you and she wasn't joking either!"

"You didn't have sex with her did you?" Katie asks concerned.

"Of corse not I would never cheat on you! Anyway I told her I was never going to leave you and she said dont worry about that Katie will be the one to leave you and I'll make sure of it. So we went out to dinner and I went to the bathroom. When I came out I took a sip if my drink and noticed something fizzing in it."

"Tabby drugged you?!" Katie's asks looking frightened.

"Yes! And when I woke up I was tied to a chair! Tabby is a crazy bitch! Anyway she gave me this!" I say pointing to the hickey on my neck.

"Go on!" Katie says rushing me.

"I reached into my back pocket and grabbed my pocket knife and cut the ropes off when she went out of the room I get something. She was sitting on my lap and I shoved her off an ran outside. I went to reach in my pocket for my phone but Tabby had it and out it in her bra and then the front of her pants and made me grab it!" I say nervously.

"When ever I see her I don't care where it is, I'm going to beat the shit out of her!" Katie says her face turning fire red.

"Anyway I got it and ran to Aren's house and he gave me a ride to get my truck and then I came here!"

"Wow sounds like a real hoot!" Katie say sarcastically.

"Worst day ever!"

"Thanks for being honest and telling me the truth!"

"Babe I will never lie to you again! I love you to much and I'm afraid to loose you!" I say looking into her eyes.

"I love you!" She says giving me a kiss

"I love you more!" I say giving her a kiss back.

"I love you most!" She says and gives me Eskimo kisses.

"Well I love you mostest!" I say and we both laugh.

"Well I guess I better go so we don't get in trouble with your mom again!" I say giving her one last long kiss.

"Yeah"

"See you tomorrow at school!" I say and walk over to the window.

"Wait!" Katie says scaring me.

"Yeah?"

"Stay with me a little longer!" She begs giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Ok!" I walk back over and lay down on her bed and she lays her head on my chest and raps her leg around mine.

I kiss the top of her head and we slowly fall asleep.
