Chapter 10 - The Discussion

When I get home I see my mum sitting at the kitchen table. Oh shit here it goes!

"Where the hell have you been Katie?" My mother asks looking furious walking up to me.

"I was at Mia's house!" I say quietly.

"Katie don't lie to me!" She yells

"I'm not lying! I'm telling you the truth!" I yell back.

"Katie Marie have you been drinking?" She steps closer smelling the alcohol on my breath.

"I thought you weren't lying?" She says disappointed.

"I went to Mia's and then we went to a party and got a ride back to her house! There that's the whole truth!"

"That's it! Your not going anywhere for a week! Todd proved me wrong! He said Sam is a bad influence on you and he was right after all!" I think it's best if you and Sam stop seeing each other!

"Mum please! I start to cry!

"Mum I love him and he's not a bad influence on me! It was my choice to go to that party! I'm the one who found out about it and I asked Mia if she wanted to go and Sam wasn't even there! Please mum.... I'm telling you the truth!" I beg.

"You better be because if I find out ur lying you won't see him again! And I will be sure of it!" My mum says. Shes usually not like this, but sense Todd started being in our lives she has changed. Before she met Todd she would have just said tell me where your going first and don't let it happen again.

"Thanks mum!" I say sucking up to her.

"Your still grounded!" She says sternly.

"Ok but me and Mia have a ridding lesson Wednesday!" I remind her.

"Fine but that's the only thing your leaving the house for, well that and school of coarse."

"Ok!" I mope and walk up stairs.

'Hey I'm grounded so I won't be able to come with you Friday! :( Xx' -Katie

'That sucks! :/ Xx' - Sam

'Yeah! An Todd said your a bad influence on me! Xx' - Katie

'Fuck him! He can go die in a hole! Babe once you turn 18 we are out of here! We will live anywhere you want ok! Xx' - Sam

'Ok when I get ungrounded I will show you this little old house on a farm, where my aunt use to live. Xx' -Katie

'Sounds good! Xx' -Sam

'And there's hill climbs down the road from it!' -Katie

'Thats great can't wait to see it! Better start saving! Lol! Xx' - Sam

'Yup! Xx' -Katie

We text for a while longer then I get in the shower and get my stuff ready for school tomorrow.

Next morning.

Ugh I shut my alarm off and get ready. I feed to dogs then go out to feed the horses. I come back in and straighten my hair and bobby pin my bangs back. I get on my bike and ride down the road and put it up against a tree, and wait for the bus to come. When I get to school I find Sam walking in the gym.

"Hey babe!" He kisses me.

"Ugh I hate Mondays!"

"Me too!" He says back.

The bell rings and we go to our lockers. He stands in front of me, my back against my locker. He starts leavening kisses on my neck and up to my jaw and to my lips and back down. The late bell rings but we don't care. We just stand here making out.

"Get to class!" Mrs. Powers says

Ugh I mumble under my breath. Sam walks me to class and kisses me one more time before going to his class.

"Your late miss. Myers!" Mr. Burkett says!

"Um I was eating breakfast!" I make up an excuse

"Ok! Take your time don't rush!" Mr. Burkett was my favorite teacher! He lets me get away with anything!

The day goes slow and I finally get home. I ride my bike back to the house and do my math homework real quick. My mum wasn't home so I change my clothes and go outside to brush the horses! I come back in and decide maybe my mum will cut me some slack if I cook her dinner an do the dishes. She comes home and thanks me. I go upstairs and text Mia and Sam for a little then get in the shower and go to bed.
