(Yeah I fucked up the time line so their tour dates will be pushed)

Y/N's P.O.V

"I'm telling you I can't record that song." I argue while walking into the recording room they scheduled me in.

His name's Issac and the other guy that was with Simon when they went to visit me in the hospital. He's also my manager. Right now he's trying to get me to record a song I can't sing unless I'm in distress. Doesn't make sense I know, he said the same thing. Issac is completely confident that 'Drown' will top the charts even though he hasn't heard me sing it yet.

I only have to record 3 or 4 more songs and then we can release my EP. My video on YouTube is already really well known so Issac says my EP will have no problem getting up there on the charts. This means I'll have people coming in to prepare me for when I have interviews or when paparazzi or fans show up. Vanessa wants to make sure I can handle it. The only thing I'm worried about is them digging up my past and asking questions.

"Why not?" He asks as he follows me inside.

"Because if you really want to see that song top charts I have to sing it with power I only feel when I'm in pain." He looks at me with his blue eyes pleading. "You need to trust me like I've trusted you so far."

He finally gives up and nods his head in agreement,"I trust you."

I give him a thankful smile before he turns to the door and leaves. I walk to the grand piano that stands in the middle of the room perfectly polished and tuned. It was a big improvement to the one I had used for years in the hospital. I take a seat on it's bench and open my song book to a new page and take out my special pen I only use to write my songs. I had always loved to write it was one of the things I had in common with Lauren, she gave me this pen.

I try and try to forget her. To move on with my life and work on my happiness, but that's hard when the person who gave you so much pain had also made you the happiest girl in the world. All those memories bitter sweet.

It was almost midnight and I can't sleep so I decided I want to take Lauren on a spontaneous date sorta thing. I quietly slip through my window and walk across the street to the window that has been through many nightly visits. I climb the side of her house and open her window, she always leaves it unlocked for me. I carefully walk to my side of her bed and slip under the covers.

I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her into me. She must have known it was me because she tries to back up to get even closer to me and moves her hand to mine and intertwines our fingers. I smile against her neck and trail feather like kisses up her neck and jaw before kissing her cheek and shaking her slightly.

"Lo get up." I whisper in her ear.

She groans and turns around in my arms to bury her head in my chest.

"I don't wanna" she whines.

"Please Lolo," still nothing. "I'll let you take whatever flannel of mine you want."

She pulls back from my chest and slightly opens one eye.

"Even your favorite flannel you wear all the time." She asks. Lauren loves my blue and red plaid flannel so much that she always ends up stealing it because I won't let her keep it. But I really want to take her out and she'll end up stealing it over and over anyways so why not let my girlfriend be happy. Plus I secretly pretend to be upset when she wears it. I love when she wears my clothes.

"Fine but you have to get up."

"Yesss!" She whisper yells and hugs me tightly before sitting up and rubs the sleep from her eyes.
